Mine only took a couple of hours to close up, I tried to put a ring back in a couple hours after taking it out, but it wouldn't go all the way through, so it might close in, i would use some kind of wire or something to put in it, but they also make clear nose rings that are usually for people who can't have piercings at work, i had one, i got it at Claires.

I don't think it will close for good but I think it does start to close. I took mine out for an interview once (what, about an hour or so) and it was a little harder (and sorry to say a little painful) to put back in. Can't you put in a clear one at least while you're at work? I bought a set of nose jewelry at Hot Topic and it came with a clear one. Maybe you could try that. Good luck!

Don't take any chances. When you keep fooling with a piercing regardless or whether it closes up or not you run the risk of getting an infection or developing those nasty bumps called keloids and those are a pain to get rid of!
Just buy a retainer for it. I've had to buy retainers for all of my facial piercings and they work fine. They're relatively cheap and do the job.

No way. Not unless it was just pierced within the last 10 days.

depends on how long you've had the piercing. if it's relatively new, then yea, it'll probably close up some. if you've had it for a long time, like years, then it's unlikely. you can get retainers for piercings that are clear at hot topic.

mine used to close pretty fast when ever i took it out. It may need popping through the inside again but no big deal really

most likely yes. You have to decide if a piercing is more important than a job.

use a piece of nylon fishing wire, pass it thru the hole leaving enough length on the inside that you can push it back out later
