God doesn't judge those who don't believe in Him and niether should you.
Why do believers lie and say God is a jealous God when he doesn't have ANY negativity about Him? Why do believers lie and say that if you sin you are going to hell? Why do believers believe in a punishing God when He is ALL Merciful, ALL Loving, All Forgiving, and ALL Perfect?
We are all human and live on this negative plain and God understands that and He does not judge us only on our human lives. God needs everyone who is on this planet to be on this planet and if we were all the same and negativity and evil didn't exist we would not learn anything from our time here on Earth.
If there were proof of God we would not need to have faith.

If you mean why non-believers don't believe in God, it could be three options:
(a) because there is no God and there is no evidence of Him
(b) because there is a God they just don't see that there's enough evidence of Him, or
(c) There is obvious evidence for God and they're just lying to themselves.
Being a theist I think it falls into (b) or (c), (a) is possible.
But your question is sort of what people in debate circles call a begged question anyway. So don't expect substantive responses. Poor questions get poor answers. Maybe you could reword it.

Jesus Junior - as a Christian, I tended to agree with some aspects of your post - until your last sentence. What the is ONE commandment God implores of us - to love one another as He has loved us. So, I ask you, what is so loving about demanding a non-believer to 'stand in line and believe or get off His planet'?????????

I'm sorry but I don't think God likes the way that your approaching this issue. It is our place to spread the word but not in the way your doing it. I read your question and automatically assumed that you were saying that if they don't believe in God then they might as well die. I think that you might want to reconsider the way your saying this.
