can't prove something that isn't there...

Noted Catholic theologian Hans Kung examined the matter in some detail [ref. 1] and correctly concluded that neither the existence nor non-existence of god could be proved on the basis of logic or evidence. (It follows from this that believing either way is useless -- it can have no effect on any activity in the real world.) Although there isn't proof, there is a fair amount of evidence, and every bit of it suggests that the notion of god is a fiction [ref. 2].

I have been able to prove my God to even the most skeptical of people. I was even able to get many people to want to convert to my faith (Christian priests to atheist scholars). However, my god doesn't want those that are so easy to give up their own faiths like that. I use to be an atheist and then I started to open my mind up to the possiblity that there may be more than just one God out there and eveyday for me is a prayer answered. Just try to remember, you can't choose your religion, faith chooses it's followers and clearly you are not one of those people that have been chosen yet-no offense to you. However, clearly with your statement that went below your question, it would be impossible for anyone to really respond to that. In reality there is nothing that I or anyone else can try to write here that can convince you that God exists.

Here is a token for your thoughts, God doesn't answer the impatient and will only show himself to those that truly stand out from the rest. So despite your rude comment, I wish you a good day and perhaps one day God may care to hear one of your prayers as long as it's not selfish.

Pro 17:7 Excellent speech becometh not a fool: much less do lying lips a prince.

Pro 18:2 A fool hath no delight in understanding,

Pro 12:15 The way of a fool [is] right in his own eyes: but he that hearkeneth unto counsel [is] wise.

Pro 17:24 Wisdom [is] before him that hath understanding; but the eyes of a fool [are] in the ends of the earth.

Where do you fit in these verses in the eyes of the people reading your question? Why would anyone begin to share a thought with you? I suppose this is the way you keep your self living in your own world.

Have fun friend.

TO ALL CHRISTIANS answering this question and many others like it:
i know that it is in our nature to want to prove to everyone that our GOd is real, but some don't even deserve an answer... look how his details show his true intention. this questioner isn't really looking for proof, desiring to come into the knowledge of our God, he is wicked and desires to stay that way. look what he writes in his 'addl detail' section. need i say any more, I'll let God have the last word
here's scripture
Give not that which is holy unto the dogs, neither cast ye your pearls before swine, lest they trample them under their feet, and turn again and rend you. matt 7:6

The existence or non-existence of God cannot be proved or disproved scientifically. At best we can cite certain scientific laws and theories (big bang, second law of thermodynamics, DNA etc.), which indicate the existence of God. There can be no scientific proof, simply because God is not physical or material. He is spiritual and infinite.

But if we broaden our notion of science to include knowledge of things that we get from observing their effects on other things, then God can be known from science.

It is a doctrine of the Church that faith does not come to us through reason alone, but by the grace of God. If a person opposes even the possibility of God's existence, then any arguments or evidence can be rationalized away.

I believe in a personal God from personal experience. It is like faith, hope and love. We know they are true but we cannot prove them concretely. My husband shows his love for me through acts of kindness and caring. To me that is proof that there is a thing called love.

It is the same thing with God. I feel his presence in the situations and circumstances I find myself in. That's how God communicates to me. I also know God loves me through the blessings (in the form of opportunities) he gives me. That's how I know God exists. I don’t need any concrete proof.

Open you heart, mind, and soul to God’s grace and you too will find Him.

Since you choose not to believe in God as your Father you are cutting him out of your life which is sad because as his son you can still change and he will give you a chance if you change what is in your heart. You are a literal descendant of a God does that not give you awe...you are his son in spirit and that gives you potential to become just like him or if you choose you can become as miserable as the fallen angel lucifer and he wants you as his so that you are not following the plan of happiness. I would rather follow a plan of happiness than a plan of misery....

Can you prove there is no God? No.

God works through natural order. He set a course of action that you can not change. Tomorrow WILL happen, with or without you. He works through miracles. You chose to believe if it is truly a miracle. God works through providence.

Why are you so angry that I believe in God? I am not angry with you. We all have free choice. I will pray for you though.

as i do not feel the need to impose my morality and religious ethics on you through direct interference in your life, or by having my beliefs made into laws. it should not matter to you if i can or can not prove my gods existence.

and why would i care where you relieve yourself?

i don't have to , He has proved Himself . It's not my fault people refuse to see the proof right in front of their face.
