I just saw this on CSI--they arrange for women to get other people's unused embryos implanted inside them so that the embryos get carried to term? Please tell me the world hasn't actually reached this level of insanity, and that it only exists on tv

hmmm, I've never heard of an actual organization doing this, but it does happen by individuals who need fertility treatment. Also, it's incredibly expensive, usually around $15,000 for 1 cycle plus being on heavy, heavy hormonal medication. I seriously doubt any organization would do that, plus you have no guarantee that the embryo will "attach" so if it does not, you've lost all that money....

for k716 - I would call it insane if these organizations only do it for their personal religous reasons. I would hope they would be doing it also to give the gift of life to a couple who cannot produce a child "the old fashioned way".

it extremely is an quite extensive question. Atheism actually skill 'without god' and because maximum human acts of devastation have been in the call of one god or yet another, this could advise that they are much less risky than those with a faith. in case you think of roughly it in a greater precis way, atheism promotes loose thinking and the choice to have faith what you prefer without the difficulty of somebody telling you what's actual with none evidence. in this way, many faiths extremely sell lack of wisdom over wisdom. (The reasoning in the back of this lays with early society people attempting to variety a attainable society that purposes nicely mutually. faith is an quite valuable thank you to try this, for this reason why there are this type of advantageous form of similarities between them). So reckoning on what you advise by harm, in early human society atheism could have been greater damaging to the progression of the human race yet in present day circumstances (the final a hundred and fifty years or so) faith is dropping its place in modern society.
