I mean, where do you even begin? There are people all over the world suffering.. Wheres the explanation for it? If a deity is supposedly compassionate, how can it be justified?

I don't think my question has been read correctly. Am i blaming 'God'? No. I'm wondering, if you believe that god is compassionate, why some children suffer horrific pain? They haven't even formulated their own ideas yet, so how can they have sinned?

Too many wars have been started in the name of religion. And most religions claim to be about peace and love. Makes you wonder.

Which is why I don't belong to ANY religion. I just beleive in God, peace and love.

Why do people think they can judge God's decisions?
Suffering is a necessary component of life. Without it, we don't grow, don't toughen, and never really understand the consequences of sin. Asking to have all suffering removed from life is like saying that ALL plants should live under hothouse conditions with perfect moisture, nutrition, pH, lighting, etc. etc. It's simply not feasible. And even if you could, the result would be useless cattle. Why do you want to be a useless cow?

God IS compassionate. But for Him to supernaturally step in to stop natural or man made suffering would have logical repercussions detrimental to God's Plan for humanity. Remember, this life in the flesh is just the opening fanfare. Those children will be well recompensed once they enter eternity.

No more than the atheists can justify the suffering of the innocents.
No one has a definitive explanation for you, and we are not the ones to instruct God on His creation.
Does the clay demand the potter to make it a platter and not a bedpan?
Who are we to instruct God? I have no concrete answer for you, and I don't think anyone does.
However ...to think that God does not know, nor see, if it is thought that God does not hear, or feel the suffering of the innocents, is to relegate this powerful entity to the dry & dusty shelves of myths from frightened pagans.
God knows. Justice will be meted out. He hears, sees, feels, & knows who and when, where and what they are suffering, even more He knows why.
He has created men and women who follow His way and these are the ones who go to extremes to help the suffering of the innocent people. They are called Jews, and Christians and they are world wide doing an incredible job for our Holy Father.
There are others who work very hard for God outside of these two churches. God knows of them as well and they too will be given their reward according to their faith.

James 1:27
Pure religion and undefiled before God and the Father is this, To visit the fatherless and widows in their affliction, and to keep himself unspotted from the world.

Men create for themselves their own religions and always have and then tear down the precepts of God as they do it...yet, if you look to see where there is relief from suffering typically, in most cases the people that are performing the benevolent act are "believers" in some faith system or another and follow the concept above....I know cuz I was raised in a Christian Children's home in Keller, Tx called Christs Haven....I had also been in a state run orphanage when I was five...the difference was immeasurable...Love in Christ, ~J~

A great issue had to be settled. The Devil called God a liar and said that mankind would be better off decideing for themselves what is good and what is bad.
Was God right in giving them laws? Was God right in controlling things for them? Many of the other angels sited with Satan and left their heavenly relm and came to the earth.
He could have destroyed Satan then and there but time needed to pass for mankind to prove once and for all time that we do need God's help to live a proper life.
That mankind on his own cannot rule himself. We have had lot's of different governments and rulerships and none of them have successfully ruled the world.
Mankind has only been on this earth a short time and no one has suffered much longer than a day in God's timetable.
Even cutting that down from 1000 years to a short 120 years.
Some much less than that. A lot has occurred since Adam.
During that time some have been good and kind and unselfish. Helping the poor and disadvantaged. Others have been greedy and selfish and had a lust for fame and money.
But enough people has been born, lived and died for the resurrection to comfortablely fill the earth with righteous people. After Noah and children were born to them it was a short time and mankind was wicked again.
If the only ones alive on earth is good people, tested people, loving people. The earth is brought back into a paradise like in the beginning? the ones who have suffered brought back and taught the truth about God. Then given an eternity to live.
Wouldn't that really make up for all the suffering we currectly do?

think about it........If everyone was happy and content and lived the same way etc.....How can god test us??? I'm sorry to get into religion, but In mine we believe that a-the majority of people in heaven will be the poor. You have the following :
good people- will be rewarded in this life and the hereafter
and they will have misofortune from time to time in this world to shed away sins committed here, so they will be clean in the afterlife and possibly skip the questiong period that happens once you die, and might enter heaven that way.

the bad people- are given everything they want here along with the misfortune for a majority of people , beacause they might go to hell.
I hope this makes sense to you and it helps. Remeber that god is always compassionate and merciful and will always give people justice if they're ever wronged in any way.

Don't blame god or any religion for the acts of people. 40,000 people die every single day even though there is enough surplus food in the industrialized nations to feed them. We as people choose to let them die. That's not God or the Christan's, the Muslims, the Buddhists etc. That's everyday people just not deciding whats important. We wait for government or faith to fix things. So many questions and answers all against something. People KNOW what they don't want. But what do you want. Stop being against things and be FOR something. This is a social problem not a faith problem.

Curious...

How do you feel about adult children whom expect Mom and Dad to continue footing the bill for their wants and needs and the wants and needs of THEIR children and not giving them any thanks because, well, they are their Mom and Dad...They SHOULD do it for them, right? Even though they really don't like their parents and don't do anything in return?

But hey, you wouldn't be born if it weren't for them, so, they OWE you?

God wants mankind to take care of their own and to help each other just because we can and should.

He provided us with life, a world, sunshine, plants, animals, food bearing plants, water, etc.,.

He gave us brains, compassion, love, etc.,.

Where is YOUR justification in mankind standing by and saying, "That's just AWFUL...SOMEONE should DO something" then turning away and forgetting it as you plan on how to best spend your own money and time which neither is earmarked for helping anyone else, because, Hey, it's YOURS....

You say there isn't a God.... yet, justify hurting and dying people because of it?

Doesn't wash...try another one. The blame game can go on forever as to whom should do something.

i myself hate this questions, it is so narrow minded. You do understand that once upon a time, the church grew to become right into a governing physique/entity. It had particular interest and wasn't basically approximately salvation of your soul. It had an Empire to escalate, and devoid of those wars we does not have a huge government with certainly one of those mass quantity of supplies, think of approximately it. If we've been a majority of those little cities and cities with self interest, we does not be ready to helping anybody. additionally It had to uphold morality because it seen it. Sodomy is undesirable, that's grimy, do not fake it is not. Now think of approximately Sodomy and why the Church would opt to outcast anybody practising it. you have those human beings anal sexing one yet another previously they knew something approximately germs.. actual? would you not say that's logical to assume. maximum folk have been ignorant peasants did not understand why their spouse Virgina would get an infection after intercourse basically previously anal intercourse, yet they did understand that it would happen in that order. So, does not the prudent situation to do is tell the folk Sodomy isn't the want of God? Hmm? Hmm do not you think of perhaps that's why they upload the detest for gay adult males too? hmm? hmm? does not you think of? i'm taken aback you seen this question, devoid of questioning approximately something. do not see the detest, see the justifications. the international grew to become into under no circumstances a great place and nevertheless isn't. there's a conflict happening actual now, you notice your neighbor around the line, certainly one of them hates you and would harm you if that they had the prospect, thats the fact of lifestyles and the international. Now understand the international 2000 years in the past. Edit particular i found out that, why the hell do you think of I reported "spouse Virgina would get an infection after intercourse basically previously anal intercourse" i'm asserting the reality that they did!!

When humans start treating each other with compassion and following the directions Jesus gave the disciples... maybe you have a chance at the Kingdom on earth...

Stop blaming world problems on religion and get out there and do something to help eliminate the problems.
