Yeah, but your rates may go up and the insurance company may not renew the policy.

You say that you have "full comprehensive car insurance." Technically, there isn't a coverage called "full coverage" and "comprehensive coverage" actually pays for things like damage from theft, vandalism, etc., not accidents.
If you have "collision coverage," that is the one that pays for damage to your own car in the event of an accident, even if it is shown to be your fault.
Check your policy to see exactly what type of coverage you really do have. By the way, a lot of people use the term "full coverage" but it would refer to having all of these property damage, bodily injury, comprehensive and collision. You may very well have that if you remember getting full coverage.
I sure hope you are covered and wish you the best in getting it sorted. If you need more tips on your insurance, there is an informative site below.

They should but your rates may go up more than normal for it. Happened with my husband when we hit a deer (we live in Oklahoma) Which sent us over an embankment and into a culvert. Highway patrol gave him reckless driving saying that he had to be going more than the speed limit, which we were 10 under because 1 it was dark, 2 the speed limit is way too high on that road. Insurance gave us the pay off but our rates are out of control now because of the ticket.

Collision insurance will pay for the damage to your car - up to the actual value of the car - for collisions you're in as long as you weren't committing a crime, it wasn't an act of war or riot and that sort of thing.
Careless driving will not get in the way of you collecting from your insurance company.

In most states, even if you're cited for an accident, the insurance company will still pay to repair your car. They most likely will not renew you policy or your rates will drastically increase due to the accident.

The insurance company will pay for it, but you will be responsible for paying the deductible.

well if you have a good insurance company they will help you pay but if you have a bad one they will only pay alittle. sometimes you pay half and the insurance company pays the rest.
