Yes, but in Lot's defense, he was drunk and they seduced him. I wonder how that defense would hold up in court today?

Yes, Lots grown daughters, because of their depravity being raised in an environment such as S and G....took advantage of their drunken father in order to have children. Stories such as these would be sort of conspicuous by their absence if everything back in biblical times was so BeaverCleaver then it wouldn't give a real accurate depiction of just why we need God on our side...the world is full of sick, twisted people. Always has been, always will be right up until the very end. The entire Bible is true...even the really seedy, disgusting sections where people do dispicable things. Like David and Bathsheba, Abrahm and Sarah, Cain and Abel..stuff like that.

Yes. His daughters got him drunk and tricked him into it, because they wanted to keep their family line going. Yes, this really happened, but the Bible doesn't say it was a GOOD thing! There are a lot of examples in the Bible of people doing BAD THNGS. That doesn't mean God condones it. It just happened that way, and it was recorded in history. Get it? Not everything in a history book is good, either, is it? It also tells the bad things that happened. Why don't people get this?

Yes they did get him drunk and have intercourse with him. I am a christian and still can't understand why. All I can think of is that they may have thought that everyone else was destroyed and that there were no men left and that they had to produce more life to continue. I still also want to know how he couldn't have known and how he was able to get an erection if he was drunk and oblivious. I'm going to study this one.

Yes. The daughters were the ones that wanted to have sex with him actually. One of them said, ""Our father is old, and there is no man around here to lie with us, as is the custom all over the earth. Let's get our father to drink wine and then lie with him and preserve our family line through our father."
And both of them actually got pregnant.

Pretty gross I know! It's in Genesis 19:30-36

Daughters of the Faith brother.

1Pe 3:6 (KJV) Even as Sara obeyed Abraham, calling him ruler: whose daughters ye are, as long as ye do righteousness well, and are not afraid with any amazement.

2Pe 2:7 And delivered just Lot, vexed with the filthy conversation of the wicked:

2Pe 2:8 (For that righteous man dwelling among them, in seeing and hearing, vexed [his] righteous soul from day to day with [their] unlawful deeds;)

2Pe 2:9 Yahweh knoweth how to deliver the righteous out of temptations, and to reserve the unjust unto the day of judgment to be punished:

Actually, they had sex with him. After God destroyed Sodom and Gomorrah Lot's daughters got him drunk and seduced him and became pregnant by Lot. They did so because all the young men in the area had been killed and they intended to repopulate the area.

Unfortunately....yes. But its not like you think. When God destroyed Sodom Gamarm( unsure spelling) he told the don't look back and moan over there possessions, but the Lots wife disobeyed and was turn to salt. When Lot and his daughters retreated to small cavern, they thought the were the only people left upon the planet.....so with that being said.

I believe so. They ran out of Sodom and went hiding in a cave. The daughter's got him drunk and took advantage of their dad's drunkenness. Wanted to keep the family line going.
I know it sounds horrible, but oh well. Those were the days.

Yes. The Bible is the record of what happened. God did not ask Lot's daughters to get their father drunk and sleep with him. And there is no knowledge how old were the daughter either.
