I am a christian and i believe that to act in a Christian manner is good i never get in to arguments re religion, because their are no winners. I respect other ppl beliefs, at basic level, but to blow ppl up in the cause of religion is a big no no, So u could say i would be passive,

Depends on their goals. If the goal is getting to an afterlife, I would hope they would be assertive in getting all the required acheivements to make it to their "happy place" but not so assertive as to speed up the process by committing suicide.

As for passive, I think they should use this trait in dealing with folks not in their religion. Assertion just repels when you get a hard sell recruiter.

Assertive in positive action, passive in preaching.

Those who follow any religion should let their actions speak louder than their words so that people will be curious enough to ASK about their beliefs.

Once asked, the religious person should GENTLY instruct ABOUT the religion without trying to convince against the questioner's inclinations.

Passively assertive. Assertively passive. Och, just ban them!

Assertive, some things must be taken by force, in the Spirit, for we wrestle not with flesh and blood, but with principality's in high places,
So we can not fight with each other, but show love, but behind the doors, if we are not fighting a battle of faith, we are defeated, do to our weapons of war fare are not in use, and we have not put on the whole armor of God.

Depends on how assertive are we talking? Blowing up innocents is a little too assertive for my tastes, but trying to motivate your people to do good and spread the word is fine by me.

Assertive when it comes to learning for self edification. Passive when it comes to sharing your beliefs with people who already have their own beliefs.

Passive. The surest way to turn someone off a religion is to say "You must believe this, or you will be tortured for eternity! P.S. Jesus loves you."

Religions should not attempt to interefere in the realms of politics, economics or science. JC said as much.. 'render unto caesar etc' They would be far better served as non-combatants in the wars of human affairs. Let them act as stretcher-bearers and comforters of the weak, diseased and dying. And also let not the religious among you be judgemental as this is by your very creed apostasy and blasphemy to presume to know the mind of god.

Assertive in a kind way. We need to show the love of God and that His goodness brings men to repentence.
