if you have an alarm clock, put it somewhere where you will have to walk to it in the morning.
take showers in the morning when you get up. those can surely wake you up.
green tea is pretty good to wake you up. any tea is as long as the tea isnt caffine free, that is a great morning drink.
another way is use listerine. haha it helps your mouth and has a strong taste that will probably wake you right up.
oh and by the way you havethe same name as me. haha Im catherine m also haha. well i hope this helps make your mornings less tired!

Hi, I never used to be a morning person and would often wake up tired in the morning even if I got enough sleep and would get really tired during the day. Things I had to watch for were: Caffeine and Sugar intake - these are present in many drinks like soda, coffee, tea, energy drinks, etc. Sugar is in just about everything you eat or drink. While these things give you a temporary boost in energy, you crash later on. Eventually you wind up stressing out your system from all the highs and lows. Also if your metabolic hormones are out of whack, you may be tired upon waking, even if you get enough sleep. For the last couple of months I have been taking a natural supplement that helps to restore metabolic balance (the balance between hormones, enzymes and neurotransmitters. Some of the natural compounds that are found in our bodies include: cortisol, insulin, testosterone, thyroid hormone, serotonin, norepinephrine, dopamine and many others.) When your metabolic system is out of balance you feel tired, stressed out, fatigued (no matter how much sleep you get), moody, irritable, etc. Taking this supplement, has made a world of difference for me, I no longer wake up tired or feel sleepy during the day, my energy level has improved and so has my mood.

Tea can help. So can getting a god night's sleep (supposedly). Green tea doesn't help much unless it's loaded with sugar, since it naturally has little caffeine. A black tea generally has a lot and plenty of antioxidants. Going to bed and waking up at a routine time helps as well.

Eating something for breakfast and a thermos full of green tea really helps me stay awake in the morning :)

The answer is restful sleep. You are getting little of it. Caffeine doesn't help. In fact, it usually hinders sleep. You have to learn what happens when you sleep. Telling you now will take too much room. If interested, e-mail me at 'conntx13@yahoo.com' and I'll tell you how.

I read that if you open your blinds in the morning and let the sun come in as soon as you alarm rings, it said the light resets your brain so you will feel awake.

hope this helped

Green tea could help, and a nice filling breakfast. something sort of sweet, like oatmeal. :)
