God doesn't exist. That was just fantasy.

He talked to Moses face to face...then, thousands of years later, sent Jesus; who they tortured and crucified (and called a liar). I imagine He turned away in digust. Just as He did after the flood when Noah's wicked boy did a dastardly thing to Noah, then bragged about it to his brothers. What an idiot.
No, God has provided the vehicle for salvation, and we can accept it or reject it. If you recall, the rich man in sheol asked that someone return from the dead and tell people about how horrible it is; and Jesus said, "It won't do any good, they won't believe it, so it is not going to happen".
Apparently, there is a great Indignation that God is having to go through where He is misjudged, misunderstood and maligned; and He's decided to remain silent, until He pours out he pent up wrath onto the earth and whoever happens to be here.

Check your Old Testament. He DID NOT talk to us face to face. He spoke only to a very few -- his prophets, and his high priests. Prophets didn't even come around every generation. For long periods, God was apparently completely non-communicating, which is why the Israelites repeatedly intermarried with their neighbors and started picking up the religions of the neighbors.
Then after several generations of wickedness, a prophet would come, gather followers, and smite the ones who'd lost faith. Again, this happened REPEATEDLY.
So, you can imagine that we're in-between prophets right now.
Either that, or religion is a bunch of hooey, and the "prophets" were and have always been whack-jobs, cult-leaders, and political nasties with their own agendas... like
L. Ron Hubbard - started his own religion so he could be rich, famous, and get to dress up in pseudo-Navy style
Joseph Smith - started an offshoot of Christianity so he and his friends could get laid by 20 stupid chicks
Rev. Jim Jones - whack job. Don't drink the... you know.

I have looked into this answer quite extensively. The answer isn't going to be found in the Bible. There is a place that used to exist in Egypt, it was considered a haven. No one was murdered. People got along well with the snakes, hippos and many violent animals. God had made this a truly wonderous place. It wasn't the devil that tempted humans with the apple of knowledge, but rather God. He said unto man, you have a choice from this day forward. I will give you freedom of choice, I will give you consciousness, I will give you what it is to be a God. With this, man was able to do almost anything they wanted. Things were fine for a long time, the people found ways to actually turn lead into gold. One day something happened that I'm unable dig much into. I do know this however, man began to sin here, God demaded to know why people were still doing things that only animals do. Fight over land, women and even Gold (not an animal thing)-what was soon mass-produced. Man was unable to answer, but stated that they didn't know exactly. God was furious, and he stopped sending typhoons that were necessary to support the 'perfect' city. Soon the people were stricken with disease, war, draught, and starvation. You call this the Garden of Eden, the people of Egypt called it Ombos. It was real. There are no real traces of this Garden left, god had destroyed it, hence it no longer exists to be found. These people had to get out fast and head for Asia. God then turned his eyes to India, where he may or may not be today. I don't mean physically, I mean where his love and grace rests. Most of the people that claimed to see God in the Bible were on drugs. God has actually placed an emphasis on Buddhism. When ever the Buddhist temples in India ever went into debt they would receive Gold from some unknown source. The typhoon that went into the middle of the desert now goes into India even today. God still 'talks' to people, but only those that are completely faithful to the ten commandments and to many other covenants. There are no exceptions. Oddly enough it is the Buddhists that are these ideal people. There are still people all around the world that still receive his blessings and words, but only those that are able to control their animal instincts. To be frank, god has never talked to us "face to face" he has always used things that appear to be natural to talk to us through. So, to say that god has stopped talking to us is wrong on many accounts.

If you read carefully you'll find that he's actually very seldom interacted with humans "face to face" or even through prophets. Remember the Old Testament covers a period of at least 4000 years if not significantly longer. During that time there were only a few times when God was really active.

God is not nor has never been an absentee landlord. I hear God often sometimes through my conscience sometimes through people I respect or care about and in a very few times through people I despise or loath and my actions are governed by those thoughts every day. weather to. lead follow or to object or just to walk away. Gods voice heard within me for me to abide by or to ignore.

Haven't you read in the Scriptures........
Mat 21:33 ¶ Hear another parable: There was a certain householder, which planted a vineyard, and hedged it round about, and digged a winepress in it, and built a tower, and let it out to husbandmen, and went into a far country:
Isa 59:1 ¶ Behold, Yahweh's hand is not shortened, that it cannot save; neither his ear heavy, that it cannot hear:
Isa 59:2 But your iniquities have separated you from your Father, and your sins have cause Him to hid His face from you, that he will not listen.
Isa 59:3 For your hands are defiled with blood, and your fingers with iniquity; your lips have spoken lies, your tongue hath muttered perverseness.
Deu 31:17 Then my anger shall be kindled against them in that day, and I will forsake them, and I will hide my face from them, and they shall be devoured, and many evils and troubles shall befall them; so that they will say in that day, Are not these evils come upon us, because Yahweh or Father [is] not among us?
Deu 31:18 And I will surely hide my face in that day for all the evils which they shall have wrought, in that they are turned unto gods.
Isa 59:4 None calleth for justice, nor [any] pleadeth for truth: they trust in vanity, and speak lies; they conceive mischief, and bring forth iniquity.

When did he talk to us "face to face". Last time I recall that (aside from Jesus himself walking the earth) was in the Garden where God talked with Adam and Eve before the fall. Jesus re-instituted that when he came to this world but then he went back to heaven until his second coming.

Christ was the fulfillment of the law, and that is all the guidance we are said to need. However, the LDS church has a living prophet. After the great apostacy, the truth had to be restored. So depending on your belief, it is just possible we are not on our own.

"... all of us could die to be sin unfastened as consistent with Romans 6:7......." - If this have been real, the Yeshua died in ineffective, using fact - as quickly as all of us die - we "are unfastened from sin", suited? incorrect. Sin is the blunders guy took after Adam's transgression. as quickly as the physique is burned, there exist no blunders. Deleted. that does no longer propose WE DESERVE something, and in factor of actuality, as Yeshua stated, we "are slaves stable for no longer something" that should die, using fact the only element that the regulation brings in, is dying. After Yeshua's resurrection (the 1st one), many have been 'replaced' in an instantaneous at their dying, and that 'corruptible' grow to be converted into incorruptible. they at the instant are in an homestead with Him in the abode of His Father "the place there exist many Mansions" and that they are going to comprise Him "as in a cloud" while He returns along with his saints. people who He does not be conscious of as "His sheep" would could wait till the Resurrection on the top of the 1000 years, the place there will be - for some - a Resurrection of existence, and for others a Resurrection of Judgment. the area of those unswerving to Him is the Universe, the Planets ("the stones of hearth" initially given to the non secular creatures that in a while rebelled against God). issues will return to the circumstances existent on the very beginning up, back, and he will Reign as a King back. btw, you do no longer could be a JW to verify the Scriptures and enable somebody aid you be conscious of what they propose. this is there for all, be unfastened. examine. be taught, the fact shall make you unfastened.
