"Jesus" is an Anglicization of the Greek Ίησους (Iēsous), itself a Hellenization of the Hebrew יהושע (Yehoshua) or Hebrew-Aramaic ישוע (Yeshua).

The differences in spelling are the result of dialect, not differences of opinion.

The name Jesus is an anglicized form of the Latin Iesus, which itself is derived from the Greek name Iesous. Iesous was the Greek transliteration of the Aramaic name Yeshua, which itself was the later Aramaic form of the Hebrew name Yehoshua.

There were other people in the Bible with the identical name, but in English they are all translated as "Joshua"

The fact is no one really knows, because we have no documents of Jesus' name in Hebrew.

It could be Yeshua, Yeshu, Yehosuah, Hoshea, or something completely different.
