Its not fair. I have been a good guy for many years being celibate. Then, I quit celibacy, got a girlfriend because I was lonely, depressed and horny. Now after a few months of fornicating, God has given me some kind of illness. I'm getting headaches and this is all terrible.
Well, I'm going back to celibacy and hopefully God will lift this curse off of me. How long does it take for the lifting of curses to process? Can this be expedited if i pray to the east or something?
Well, I'll tell you something, now i'm sure there is a God existing.

this is my own fault. i know. i guess i didn't need to have sex. i could've just waited until i decided to marry. well, i learned a lesson. hopefully whatever i have, which i doubt is an std, i used protection every time and i wouldn't just lay with anybody. hopefully God hears my apology and repentance.

God forgives you....i also want to say how can God give you something He doesn't have like an illness or sickness...God knew what sin was all about ..the effects of its nature...the curses etc....so people had to live under the old law until Jesus who died on the cross took are sins upon Himself...so now we have a faithful High Priest to defend us when we do sin...when we ask for forgiveness & repent (make it right) we get back under Gods protection.....where theres sin theres consequences depending on what you do...it gives the devil a foothole into your life to cause problems....God wrote the Ten Commandments for a reason not to say hey if you break one your going to hell no not at all its because God knew what trouble it might bring upon a believer if you break them...You know God lives in the moment not the past so just learn from your mistake....& move on...

Why must you blame GOD for your admitted Fornication and the consequences of it? If you knew fornication was wrong and you did it anyway don't blame God. Sex inside Marriage is the safest and only way to go. But if you prefer to live celibate that is a good option too, Paul lived many years celibate, and never resorted to child molestation as do some of the current clergy that profess celibacy. God is not hurting you; he gave you free will to make up your own mind about things. Okay, so you was living a righteous life before God and then you failed to get married before having relations with a woman. God is not punishing you for that indiscretion; you conscience is. Your conscience (the Holy Spirit) is being reminded of the act of sin against the intructions of God, okay you are just feeling guilty. Illness is not a direct punishment from God, in fact the good lord doesn't work like that. God will forgive this disobedience if you repent. Repent means to turn away from and not do it again. Illness is part of the human condition which came as a curse to Adam and Eve for they're disobedience. Its okay to pray to God; he hears our prayers.Welcome a covenant relationship with God to fill your void of lonliness. He will become your best friend if you allow this to happen. God will send people your way to lift you up and not bring you down , if you just ask him for it. He will show you your soulmate and give you the words to say to woo her. God will give you joy beyond all understanding. He will give you perfect peace if you establish a covernant relationship with him. Oh, I am not saying that your life will become perfect, I am saying that God said that the marriage bed is never defiled. Marraiges are blessed because God himself has ordained marriage, and if you decide to invite God to the wedding as the most important guest....your marriage shall be doubledly Blessed! All you have to do is make a commitment to the Lord, praise him, and worship him and faail not in the assembly with other followers of the Christ while paying your tithes for the upkeep of the church and you will find purpose in the body if Christ and works of a good-Godly filled life whill allow you to leave this earth without fear of going into anafterlife of misery, but of joy because you will be sitting on the right side of God. God doesnt punish people for anything, otherwise there wouldnt have been a point to Jesus being born, God loves people NO MATTER WHAT, and the sooner you absorb that the better. As for your illness, that comes from the serpent (the devil) (hes first mentioned in genesis) he is the one that hands out all the bad cards, all you have to do is believe God's word and do his will as best you can because obviously God knows we arent perfect, when you make something you know what its about, Just pray that God will heal you and trust that he will and he will, it would also be a good idea to apologize for sinning, but even if you choose not to God loves you anyway and he will heal you if you believe he will. Its the path you choose, not God, God has his plan written, you know the word, once you take yourself off the path, his covering comes off you, and your reaping what you sowed,
your blaming God for your own actions,
Ask him to forgive you and sin no more, and you will be blessed. Keep going your sinful way, and your under a curse.
How much of the Bible you don't live by, is how much of a curse that comes on you when you think your in control, God don't play, why do you?

God isn't hurting you. Your pain, physical and emotional, is a result of your actions. So, you gave in to some desires for a period of time. I really hope the effects are short lived. You need to forget the idea that God has cursed you. He doesn't do that. Have you read the Book of Job? God didn't test him, either. It was Satan then, and it's Satan now. Everybody has at least one weakness, and that's all Satan needs to getcha. As far as I know, God doesn't care which direction you face when you pray, but you do need to pray to Him. Ask for strength to resist temptation and ask for forgiveness. The thing that I have found to be the most difficult is to forgive myself for momentary lapses in appropriate behavior. You might want to ask God for help with that, too.

Well, gosh, I don't think God infected you. I'm pretty sure (based on current medical research) that your decision to have sex with std-contaminated partners ultimately led to your present physical condition.
Your expectation that prayer will relieve you of the std's you suffer is less (much less) likely to resolve the problem than a visit to a good clinic.
See a doctor. Deal with the problem in a realistic way.

I hope you know now by the answers of other people and your own conclusions that God didn't do anything to you. The story of Adam and Eve shows us one key thing -- sins have consequences. God gave them a law and he said if you break it, something will happen as a result of that. You have to understand that the concept hasn't changed. If you choose to go against the will of God, there is a consequence that is a result of the breaking of that law of God. If you have sex before marriage and get an STD, that is a consequence. If you get a girl pregnant, again that is a consequence. It does NOT mean that God did it to you. Do not turn your anger to God. Your situation is thanks to you, not to God. Turn to God and allow him to help you. He can help you and comfort you in this hard time.

sorry your having problems, you might need to go to the Doc, seriously.
Sex is not a curse or is it bad.
Being monogamous just has a lot of benefits. Hopefully, a partner you pick will be "faithful" also.
BTW, God gave people the desire to be physicians, maybe the Doc will lift your "curse".
