It becomes clear with every passing year that both sides are willing and unable to come to a final peace agreement.

So why even bother?

For those huffing and puffing about the Palestinians it will not be a problem if done properly.
Those that do not wish to live in Israel will be given compensation to immigrate to any nation that will take them.
Those that wish to stay will be given permanent residency status with the opinion to apply for citizenship (just like Arabs of Jerusalem)
Those that wish to continue the violence will be deported to Gaza where they can have their Islamic state.

It would be nice if the Palestinians could have a state in the West Bank, but no one has really wanted it in the last 60 years. So why prolong the suffering of both sides and just drop the idea all together.

NYC Chutzpah- to answer your question Jordan dose not want the West Bank, they have made that quite clear, the same is true for Gaza and Egypt.

You have a choice between the PA, Israel, or chaos

israel wont annex the west bank, not because it believes not to have any right over it, nor to respect some UN resolution, but simply because the birth ratio of the palestinians would lead to the collpase of israel intended as a jewish state.

If Israel wanted to annexe the westbank then the condition i could think of would be for israel to lose it's status as a jewish state and instead become a bi-racial state (israeli-palestinian) there are around 2 million palestinians in the west bank and
1 million in Israel proper.

If Israel wants to take in that meany palestinians into Israel then a very imporant condition is that Israel become a Bi-racial state and not just a "jewish state" other wise no deal.

"edit" also you must know that Israel benefits from the west bank's status. Because it is not part of israel it is not subject to some thing's like for instance Land fills.

In Israel they bring alot of their waste to palestinians and pay them 35 dollars per the truckload.

In Israel it would cost 10 times that.

As long as palestinians status remains uncertain,Israelis will keep on exploiting it with loop holes like the once i mentioned.
And Israelis will continue to make a profit and not care...

Well this idea of yours was proposed by Arabs before. Take Gaza and the West Bank and East Jerusalem. Give all the Palestinians there Israeli Nationality, allow the Palestinian refugees to return to their homes and give them Israeli Nationality.

All in the State of Israel Jews and Arabs will have equal rights and will live by the Israeli "democratic" system. More than 8 million Israeli Arabs living happily side by side with 6 million Israeli Jews.

So will you still accept this great solution of yours?

This is exactly why Israel is reluctant to annex Palestinian lands since this will mean the end of the racial purity of the "Jewish" state.

MikeinRI explained to you the other viable option; to annex Gaza and the West bank but with the condition of getting rid of all the Arabs... Some kind of a new final solution... either deport them or exterminate them... I guess this option will be a little bit difficult

There is nothing good that would come out of Israel just annexing the West Bank unless the Palestinian population would voluntarily leave and that isn't going to happen. The best solution is an independent Palestinian nation-state being developed in the West Bank. Then we will see if Arabs can live in peace or simply self-destruct.

Good Luck!!!

israeli's don't want to be decent human beings. why else would they not want to grant basic human rights to 3 million people? The idea of racial and religious purity is simply racism. Easy fix to a problem that never should have occured (::cough:: europeans)

I've got a great idea. Israel can mind the UN world agreements move out of the west bank. Move all settlements. Then the Palestinians would not have to beg for their own resources as we know full well that because of the annexed settlements which were preplanned exact locations as to take all the water which is in the west bank. and then make the Palestinians feel like beggers for a drink of water. Then there would not be any screams of self defense. I mean, does the world not agree with Fatah now? did Israel not release prisoners as a peace plan? If Fatah shows good faith and the israelis show good faith. When will the Isralies stop occupying the west bank in the name of self defense? and screaming that they give all resources to the Palestinians,,,,,, ugh sometimes it makes one really want to pull out their hair,,,so so hard to be respectful of all sides and wish for peace ... when so many people just dont want it.

Should have been done in the 1960s.
Hard to say now.

They really should have done this when they liberated the West Bank.

I agree with NYC Chutzpah, but on the other hand Israel has been providing all their services for the last 60 years so maybe it's time to stop and let the Arab world take over their maintenance.

what a horrible idea. who wants to take care of a bunch of ppl who won't accept responsibilty for their own actions. why not make the west bank part of jordan and let Israel keep their settlements. Make egypt take the gaza strip and let them deal with that problem.
