If i had the time to go across the country by train I think I would most definately do it. I've only been on the train twice but i enjoyed it alot, because I was able to look outside and it felt like i was out in the bush. it is also nice and quiet.

I have been cross country in several countries already, and would like to add a few more.
And I would love to travel Alaska to Mexico, near the coast.
The last cross country travels I did were the Indian Pacific and the Ghan in Australia. The Indian Pacific was a little long, (sitting up, three days in one go, and not sleeping well,) but I would go again if possible.

No. I took the train from Virginia to New Jersey and was bored out of my scull.
