Acts 10:44-46
44While Peter was still speaking these words, the Holy Spirit came on all who heard the message. 45The circumcised believers who had come with Peter were astonished that the gift of the Holy Spirit had been poured out even on the Gentiles. 46For they heard them speaking in tongues[a] and praising God.
Baptism by water is not needed for the Holy Spirit to bestow his gifts. The first time was when they were baptised by fire. The second as is shown above came when they believed to the circumsised and uncircumcised. It was belief that allowed the Holy Spirit to enter. When you first believe you are baptised by the blood. When you are baptised by water it is an act of obedience a public statement of belief and a representation of your salvation. You are buried in likeness of Christ and raised as in his resurrection a new person.

The Bible does NOT say that you need another type of water baptism.
When you receive the Holy Spirit, you receive ALL of the Holy Spirit. What we call the Baptism of the Holy Spirit is when people realize the power of the Holy Spirit and begin to exercise the gift(s) given to them.
Eph 4:4-6
4 There is one body and one Spirit- just as you were called to one hope when you were called- 5 one Lord, one faith, ONE BAPTISM; 6 one God and Father of all, who is over all and through all and in all.

It only speaks of one baptism with the Holy Spirit - that which is guaranteed to all believers. Like in Acts 2:38 Peter replied, "Repent and be baptized, every one of you, in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of your sins. And you will receive the gift of the Holy Spirit."

I don't believe it's a physical baptism, but a spiritual one. Being overcome with the Holy Spirit is a form of baptism, much like the symbolism of water in the physical.

Your premise is incorrect. The Holy Spirit is given to all believers when they are saved. There is no second baptism of the Holy Spirit.
Ephesians 4:4 There is one body and one Spirit, just as also you were called in one hope of your calling;
5 one Lord, one faith, one baptism,
6 one God and Father of all who is over all and through all and in all.
7 But to each one of us grace was given according to the measure of Christ's gift.
8 Therefore it says,
"WHEN HE ASCENDED ON HIGH,
HE LED CAPTIVE A HOST OF CAPTIVES,
AND HE GAVE GIFTS TO MEN."
Notice in verse 5 it plainly says there is one baptism. Notice also that gifts were given to everyone who received the one baptism.

The only passage I could find that supports your stance is this:
"But when they believed Philip preaching the things concerning the kingdom of God, and the name of Jesus Christ, they were baptized, both men and women. Then Simon himself believed also: and when he was baptized, he continued with Philip, and wondered, beholding the miracles and signs which were done.
Now when the apostles which were at Jerusalem heard that Samaria had received the word of God, they sent unto them Peter and John: Who, when they were come down, prayed for them, that they might receive the Holy Ghost: (For as yet he was fallen upon none of them: only they were baptized in the name of the Lord Jesus.) Then laid they their hands on them, and they received the Holy Ghost.
And when Simon saw that through laying on of the apostles' hands the Holy Ghost was given, he offered them money, saying, Give me also this power, that on whomsoever I lay hands, he may receive the Holy Ghost. But Peter said unto him, Thy money perish with thee, because thou hast thought that the gift of God may be purchased with money." (Acts 8:12-20, KJV)
You'll notice that in this case, it was the laying on of hands that passed the Holy Spirit to these believers, not an immersion. Make sure, as you describe this to another believer that you explain what you mean by "baptism," as this is not an immersion, but a filling; two different meanings for the same word.

I'm sorry but a second baptizm is not required. Let me show you what someone showed me in the Word.
John the baptizer came baptizing in water as a foreshadowing of what was to come. And what was to come was better than water and what John was doing. It would replace water entirely. John 1:26 John said, "I ONLY baptize in (or with) water.
Mark 1:8 "I have baptized you with water but He (Jesus) will baptize you with Holy Spirit.
Matthew 3:11 I indeed baptize you with water, because of repentance . But He who is coming after me whose sandals I am not worthy to take off, He will baptize you with Holy Spirit and with fire.
The bible says that there is only ONE baptism.
Ephesians 4:4 There is one body, and one Spirit, ....5 One LORD, one faith, ONE BAPTIZM, One God, etc........ It isn't talking about one type of WATER baptism it is saying only one baptizm period. The baptism of the Holy Spirit. We can get baptized in water all we want. It is just our decision to openly pronounce our decision. The water does nothing spiritually. It just causes people to boast and it is just a work. But the moment we got saved or born again is when we get baptized with spiritual water not physical water. John showed them the meaning of physical water cleansing us to prepare them for the Holy Spirit's cleansing. Which was to come by our faith in Jesus only. The water is THE WORD.
Ephesians 5:26 So that He might sanctify her, having cleansed her by the washing of water WITH THE WORD. Jesus is the living water and the Living Word. When we accept the gospel of Jesus Christ we are washed clean by His blood. (Water also gushed out of His body at death.)
If there were two baptizms the word wouldv'e said so. Yes people got baptized in water even after the baptiszm of the H.S. came but some of them did not know about that baptism yet, like in Acts. Sometimes we get an annointing way after we get born again when the Lord empowers us with the gifts. Sometimes right at the moment we got saved. But I was working in the gifts years before I was saved or baptized I just didn't know what they were yet.

How did the Disciples of CHRIST receive the HOLY SPIRIT?
John 14:15 Â If ye love me, keep my commandments.
16 Â And I will pray the Father, and he shall give you another Comforter, that he may abide with you for ever;
Keep the Commandents of GOD and then the HOLY SPIRIT will come.
GOD bless
