I'm 18, and I'm attending the University of Colorado at Denver Health and Science Center. I'm currently a Biology major (should I change to Pre-Pharm?) and I have a low paying job at a woman's clothing store. I have in the past, however, interned at a hospital as well as 2 years of volunteering at one. I'm thinking about working at a pharmacy...what would it be like? Salary? How else should I prepare for Pharmacy School?

Any info would be useful! =)

You should try and get a job at a pharmacy. At Walgreens in the Chicago area, starting salary for uncertified techs is $10 per hour.
You should get involved in some non-pharmacy activities. They love to see commitment to the community. Joining an organization like Alpha Phi Omega or New Life Volunteering is a good thing to do.

- A's in every class
- find out the prereqs for Colleges of Pharmacy you intend to apply for
- get after it!

Best of luck.
