Earlier today there was this van that was cutting across the parking lot and he almost hit me. I was going the right way, and didn't go up the aisle until the up arrow. I could see on the guy's face that he was mad at me for following the arrows and what not.

But why do people do this? I see it all the time. Do they not care if someone is going the right way and they hit?

I'm not sure if there are laws governing traffic flows on private property or not. It may depend on the state. I would say that people who cut across like that had an entitlement personality disorder and there for probably would not care if you hit. They'd blame you for being in their way when they in fact were at fault for being morons.

I doubt that its illegal to cut across the lanes because its private property. i've never seen anybody get a ticket for not following the parking lot lanes. i doubt police can give tickets for that.
