And yes, I know I need to go to the doc for diagnosis/treatment, but I wanted to also get some ideas if anyone has experienced this before. Most of my online search and research indicates all this occurring on left side, but this is on my right. Sporadic elevation in temp but not a high fever, super sleepy and now arms and legs are feeling a bit weak. Ibuprofen and total rest will keep the pain at bay but it just doesn't feel right. Any thoughts, experiences, meidcal knowledge that might get me heading in the right direction?

it sounds as though you have an infection Throughout the throat and sinus Area. The swelling can cause the facial numbing. You will probably need a round of antibiotics to get rid of the infection.

Maybe mono?

The symptoms of mono are:

fever
headaches
swollen glands in the neck (can be just one side, mine was)
excessive fatigue
sore throat

Look it up on webmd.com

It probably isn't mono, but even things like the facial numbing could be problems from your symptoms. Like, the headaches and swollen glands can cause other things to hurt, but those things aren't the exact symptoms of the illness. See what I mean?

I am only a nurse and a doctor makes the diagnosis, but I would say maybe tonsilitis or parotiditis, without actually seeing you. Hope you feel better soon.
