why are there so many sermons on TV Sunday morning?

I went to bed around 5 in the morning on Sunday, and there were sermons on way too many stations. Plus any other day there are televangelist all over the TV as well. I live in Louisiana, is it the same all over the nation or more so down south here?

It's discrimination against Christians.
