This is a huge myth. Dogs do not gain large amounts of weight from the spay or neutering unless you change the dogs diet to one that has more calories and the dog becomes couch potato will the dog gain weight. If you keep the dog on the same food and exercise the dog's weight should not fluctuate.

A dog does not gain weight because of being spayed. A dog gains weight due to over feeding and not enough exercise.

as much as you will allow I have had over 15 dogs spayed without weight gain.

Good going darlyngirl1982! Also, dogs don't get fat after being spayed unless they are fed a lot and are hardly exercised. BTW, haven't you asked questions like this like, A LOT? Some people never quit...
