My father had a few near death experiences. He said each time before he was brought back, he expected to see something. He has been a life long practicing Catholic. He admitted he was very disappointed because he saw absolutely nothing.

I have a close encounter with death. I had a horrible headache one evening. I needed aspirin and headed to the local store. On the way, I thought I was going to pass out and prayed to get to the store and home. When I got home, I told my friend to call 911 as there was something terribly wrong. The ambulance came and put me in and started off to the hospital. While laying there I felt my spirit start to sit up out of my body. I knew that if "I" left my toes, I would be standing before Jesus and He would say to me "Well done good and faithful servant. The wonderful story of this is that I felt like I was such a looser and how could God love me. I prayed and told Jesus that I could not die now because what I was here to do was not finished. I then laid back down into my body. A bright light came into the ambulance. I got to the emergency, was placed into a room. The doctor looked at me, said I looked fine and sent me home. I had no headache and was feeling fine. There is also a book called "Caught Up To Paradise" was written by a non-believer who died.

I saw one an TV the other day. Supposed to be true story. Drunk fell in river one winter morning. They fished him out and he was dead. They warmed up his body slowly and he came back to life. Walked out of the hospital against doctors orders. The funny thing is, He never knew he died. Hadn't a clue. Went right back out to being a drunk. No life changing experience.

There is a book by Dr. Moody about children who have had near-death experiences. It's super interesting, the children are too young to have been taught to say the things they said about their near death experience and they all are similar.

exciting question. to make it easier to comprehend the reality, i individually do not pay interest to those---the only reports having to do with Heaven and Hell that I pay interest to are those via the Saints-----because of the fact those human beings have been certainly very holy, enjoyed God immensely and served Him to the utmost of their skills (to not point out those reports did not oftentimes come to them whilst they have been close to death or supposedly died).

You mean near death experiences? Because once your dead, that's it, there is no coming back from it.

Whatever answers you get here on YA... there will be no real way to assess whether those experiences are "real" or "fake."
