In most cases the night before surgery she can't eat after 8 pm and youbring her into teh vets early in teh mornig most of the vets in my area is between 7:30 and 8 am. they will do surgery later in teh day and seh will spend the night.
Depending on what your vet uses either the sutures will absorb or need to be removed in 7-10 days and you will need to keep her dry and clean those 7-10 days.
It is best if she is kept inside during this time.
You may notice for a day or two after bringing her home she may not be herself and not want to eat or move around much.
She shuld be fine but she just had surgery and you can't expect anything more.

Depending on your veterinarian, your girl could be home the same day. There will obviously be stitches involved, so she will need special care for a week or two. She won't feel well at first, so it'll be easy. When my dog was spayed, I was told to prevent her from chewing or licking the stitches, no running for a few days and no jumping either. Please remember it is far healthier to spay your dog. A lot of problems can occur overtime (our family vet told us that one in three dogs will die of cancer related death), and this way you avoid a lot of unwanted pregnancies.
