No it is quite safe unless you happen to be allergic to something in them. I tend to eat the whole of an apple seeds included, and it hasn't done me any harm in the last 40 years.
Some one will no doubt tell you yes it is because they contain cyanide, true they taste a little of almonds so probably do contain a compound of the cyno group, but then so do almonds and they are a lot bigger and people eat them all the time.

I suggest that you remove the seeds or remove the core of an apple. You may eat the fleshy part of the core. Swallowing the seeds whole will just come in and go out the other end. If you bite into the seeds you may release an element that will become cyanide when digested so why take the risk. Do a little research in the internet to get the whole picture on apple seeds.

Apple seeds contain a very small amount of cyanide. According to Snopes (see attached), there has been one documented death from consumption of apple seeds, a very sizeable amount. Looks like snopes edited their entry, but I did find a reference to the "lethal dose" (around 1/2 cup crushed seeds) at the second link. Enjoy.

I have eaten loads of apple seeds in my time and no little trees are growing out of my head, go ahead and give them a good chew before swallowing.

If you chew them you will get a tiny dose of cyanide but it is too small to do you any harm unless you ate the seeds of about 100 apples.

If you swallow them whole their husk will withstand your stomachs digestive acid and they will pass through your body whole and unharmed and without you getting any cyanide.

No, cos a big apple tree will grow inside you. When I was a kid I was told this and believed it for three whole weeks. I kept asking when I'd start finding leaves coming out of my ears, eventually when I had pestered my parents enough, they came clean. LOL.

Of course you can eat them. How could they be dangerous. The seeds of anything contain the germ for new life of the product. \They are usually really good for you.
