In Center Island, Oyster Bay, I fish the Long Island South side. I park in the town lot then go underneather the tunnel. From the shore, I use a 8-foot St. Croix fishing rod and a Shimano Sphero FA 4000 to catch porgies or blackfishing. If I go for stripers or blues, I used a 10,5-foot St. Croix Triumph rod with a Shimano Baitrunner 4500. If were to fish on a boat, I would use a six-foot star pole and a Penn squider.
