The Minolta X series cameras have a diode or resistor of some kind which has a limited lifespan. The part itself is very inexpensive but the labor and stress is what kills your winder.
Best advice, find a service shop for your camera.

Do you have film in the camera? If you have film in the camera one of the reasons you might think it is stuck is you are "pulling" at the film because you did not press or not hard enough the re-wind button that is underneath the body of the camera. The film re-winder (the handle) will normally turn with-out a problem and it has nothing to do with batteries.
If you are still having problems and you want the film out go into a dark room (closet, bathroom etc) with no light leaks and no florescent lights (they still glow even when off) you can pop the back open on the camera press the button underneath and pull the handle up to take the film canister out and into your hand now rewind the film with your hand (thumb and index finger) turning counter clock wise. Place the film into a canister and you can now turn on the light.
If this does not solve your problem or you are afraid to do it then take it to a camera shop and explain to them your problem. You may also still need maintenance.
Hope this helps,
Kevin

Is the "ON" switch on? Are the batteries fresh? Have you reached the end of the roll of film, which won't allow the shutter to advance fully and fire and the film attached to its canister won't allow further advance of the wind lever? If all these fail to cure it, send it for repairs. Don't force anything.
