Global warming; I can personally take action to learn if it exists, about its causes, and what I can do to prevent it.
The other issues involve the personal convictions of the people who most directly encounter decisions related to those issues.

In my Christian mind, assuming that it is different from an Atheist mind or a Pagan mind, global warming is of course the most important matter. What we are physically doing everyday in driving, and overlooking environmental quality to save big business the trouble of cleaning up their filth is changing the world climate faster than the Earth can compensate for it.
Gay marriage isn't a problem. I don't understand the reasons for the assertion by anyone that it is a problem, the commitment between two people is between them, I have nothing to do with it. As long as both parties are willing and of age I don't have any concern with gay marriage. Abortion is a situation best dealt with by the woman involved and her family and possibly the father of the baby. I've got nothing to do with it. Again as long as it is the woman carrying the child making the decision for herself, her decision is not my concern.

Abortion is the most immediate concern. So far over 50 million babies have been murdered in the US alone.

Abortion...absolutely the most important/immediate problem. Killing another person is wrong. Abortion devalues life by putting arbitrary limits on the value of life. A fetus IS a living human being...by saying it isn't as important as a life that has already been born or that is has NO value until it reaches some arbitrary level of development diminishes us all. In my mind, it isn't at all unlike laws that allowed slave owners to kill their slaves for causing them any inconvenience or problem...the law now gives humans that haven't developed to a specific point the same or less value given to slaves. Will we never learn?
Gay marriage, personally I don't care if the government allows gay people to marry. I don't believe the government has the legal right to prohibit any adult from marrying whoever they choose. As long as the government is handing out differential rewards (e.g., tax advantages, extension of employment benefits) based on marital status, I don't think it is legal OR moral for them to deny some people the right to marry. If I had my way, the government would get the heck out of marriage altogether...no rewards, no benefits, no punishments...no discrimination...but as long as they sanction marriage and treat married people differently, they have no right to legislate who can and can not be married!
Global warming. I'm not even convinced this is an issue given the extremely limited scope of the measurements supporting the theory. If we had 1,000 or even 500 years worth of measurements, we might be able to say that global warming is a man-made problem...but with the limited time frame we have, I think it is just as likely that we are just seeing natural cyclical variations in the climate.
In any case, I do not believe that God would allow us to destroy this planet...he will bring about his planned end to the world as we know it (Revelation, armageddon, the end times, etc...) LONG before we could make this planet unable to support human life. I do support legislation designed to limit the burning of fossil fuels and/or encourage the use of alternative fuel sources, but otherwise, global warming is an issue I'll leave in God's capable hands.

Abortion. I think the innocent lives would always come first in God's eyes. BTW - Anyone who has an abortion is forgiven of course, if they want to ask God for it.

For global warming, it has nothing to do with the soul.
As for sin, such as homosexuality or abortion, if not forgiven, a man when he suffers physical death will be cast into hell where his soul will be reserved until judgment day.
Then the man will be asked why he did not accept God's free gift of salvation, knowing very well that the love of sin would cost him his soul.
After having to give account of how the man lived his life while on earth, he will then be cast into the lake of fire and brimstone where he will live in torment forever.
And I believe the thing that will torment the lost more then anything is that if they would have only believed in God's Son, they would not have been cast into torment for all eternity. And eternity is forever.

"In your Christian mind?" Can't you just say, "In your opinion..." Sheesh... Our minds aren't alien minds or something...
I don't know much about global warming and how immediate the effects are happening on earth, so I will trust better informed people to answer this question.

Abortion. Killing innocent babies (yes they are babies, folks!) is a despicable practice in a civilized society.

Abortion. It ends a human life. Gay marriage is two adults choosing to sin. If they choose to live a life of sin that is their problem. Thankfully though here in Ohio we outlawed gay marriage. Global warming I don't even worry about.
