No, he doesn't need it. The hype for drinking lots of milk for good health is from promoting the dairy industry. Plenty of my family members have never had cows milk and they have no teeth, bone, or skin problems. However, they do eat a good vegan diet that includes a variety of vegetables which have all the calcium the human body needs.
(Cow's milk is intended to grow a healthy calf into a cow in a few short years, and is not needed for the human body.)

Milk isn't important and many people can't or won't drink it. Veggies have calcium or he might eat other dairy products.
My great nephew couldn't have any dairy past age 2 from allergies and even now when he could have some he won't even eat ice cream.
If he just doesn't enjoy a cold glass of milk don't push it. You can hide milk in some foods like mac and cheese or put powdered milk in meat loaf or in some countries where milk is too expensive they recommend the bones of small fish. So canned salmon or something where the bones are small and soft made into salmon patties would be another way to get calcium. Bell peppers have it too.

I wouldn't be over concerned, most kids I know at that age are not drinking milk anymore. He can get calcium in other forms like, cheese, yogurt and other healthy snacks. Try giving him a calcium supplement or vitamin that contains calcium. Try giving him chocolate milk, maybe he will like that. There are many foods out there that are fortified with calcium you just have to read the packages. Cook foods at home that contain calcium and cook with milk.

I agree with "V's" answer. Did you know that humans are the only mammals that drink milk after they are weaned? And cow's milk is to sustain a cow that weighs several hundred pounds. If he doesn't want it, don't try to force it. Just make sure he's getting enough calcium in other ways.

He can eat other dairy products to take the place of milk like cheese and such. Or you can put him on a daily vitamin with calcium in it to make up what he is not getting from milk.

have you tried flavoring... there are healthy additives to milk that have lower sugar levels, etc. Ovaltine is a good source of calcium and it's chocolate. Also you should try a vitamin like flintstones etc that have daily doses of calcium and other vitamins important for healthy growing children.
