Humans are instinctively able to notice and remember extremely slight differences in other people's features that we are not able to pick up and remember in other animals. Animal species that are more like human beings are easier for us to tell apart than species that are less like human beings. For example, it's fairly easy to tell the difference between two housecats, because they are mammals like us and we can use a lot of the same instinctive abilities to tell them apart that we use to tell each other apart. On the other hand, two salmon set side by side usually look identical to us, because our built in mental software was not created to differentiate and remember fish faces. Each salmon, dog, or frog is just as unique looking as any human being, we just can't notice it as easily.

For every person, there is at least one other person in the world that looks uncannily similar. Maybe even more. But there are so many different ethnicities, and shapes of eyes and all of the other features that it is little wonder every one looks different.

because they're all different shapes. It'd be like asking, how come when people draw houses, they don't look the same? It's different for everyone because the genes are different for everyone. Not to mention they're all different colors. Maybe not black to white, but there are so many different shades in every color. Like, you could be a peachy tan, pinky tan, yellow-ish tan, olive tan, and so the list goes on.
