Gym pass is better for your health.
Their are a variety of ways to get your cardio in. Your more likely to stick with it by not getting bored with the same routine. My favorite way is Cardio Funk class.

they both have positives and negatives, a gym you will likely do more while you are there and use different machines, though a home system you can do when ever you have any spare time with out having to get organised and go the the gym, l have bought a home weights kit and just pump for half an hour every other day, and l can see a noticable difference, and can do it whenever l am not doing anything, cost about the same as a year gym pass

Financially an exercise bike is better, but if you know that you aint going to use it everyday better buy a gym pass.
I bought a bike knowing that i will use it but i haven't used it since i got it. A pass is better cause then you can do lots of other cardio activity

We have an exercise bike at home, which i got bored of after a couple of weeks, so i thought right, i need to DO something, so i got a gym pass, i go four times a week and i have been going for about half a year now, it never gets boring and there's such a variety.
Hope this helped!

Get a gym pass. There are more exercise bikes at yard sales because people buy them and don't use them. The gym will give you more variety and you will stick with it longer, you will have some socialization, and may look forward to it more. Good luck!

Neither if you won't use it.
If you want strictly cardio, then a stationary bike is a good choice - you can do it anytime and won't have any excuses not to.
If you want variety, the gym is where you need to be. This will require discipline - you won't have results if you never actually go to the gym.

For your money, I'd say a gym pass. You would have a variety of cardio pieces, plus weight training equipment. More for your money.

you want to start with something that you would stick with, with either decision. If you are the person who is OK without the variety of the gym then I say go with the bike. But, if you get board easily, go with the gym...

Gym pass.....you meet people that can help with motivation and more equipment to exercise the whole body.
Though you dont actually need equipment to do cardio exercise.....aerobics will do that for you.
