If you've had a headache for 4 days you really need to see your GP but in the meantime have you tried drinking plenty of water. Sometimes if you are dehydrated you will get a headache and replacing lost fluids might help.

Sounds like a migraine or a cluster headache.
Have you tried taking "Excedrin Migraine"?
That might help you more then just pain pills.
If it still doesn't go away by Tuesday, you better get to the doctors.

I hope you feel better :{

Since your doc probably isnt open today or tomorrow i say head to the ER and tell them that you have had this headache for 4 days and that its interfering with your life and can they help you. Other than that make sure you cut out as much if not all stress in your life.

You should go to a doctor - call them to make an appointment now! Just a thought - you haven't suddenly cut caffeine out of your life, have you? People can get terrible 'caffeine deprivation' headaches!
I know this will sound odd but I sometimes find half a pint of beer can help - but not more or you'll get a worse headache.

Please make the doctor's appointment now and good luck!

4 days is nothing if you're a migraine sufferer, believe me! Are you tired because that doesn't help. Get some early nights in. Try changing your brand of headache tablets, you're probably immune to them now.

Ignore dgbyog, he post that same information for everyone who uses the word headache regardless of whether or not it applies.

If you have had a constant headache for 4 days you need to see your GP as soon as possible. If you have any other symptoms in addition to headaches, like disorientation, stiff neck, fever, numbness in the extremities, go to the emergency department.

Headaches can be difficult to control and the first thing people think of is pain relief. But analgesic medications can prolong and often cause headaches, instead of relieving them.

You definitely need to get into the doctor and have your blood pressure and labs checked. In the meantime, if you think there is a chance you are dehydrated-replenish with water. Sometimes being dehydrated gives me the most awful long lasting headache
