This was the subject of a radio programme within the last four years broadcast on the BBC Radio 4 (I think it was 'Within Our Time' but it might have been The Moral Maze)

Yes.

In the early days the Germans would stick a big red "J" on the passports of the Jews. When the Jews tried to get into Switzerland, they were turned away. That of course did not stop the Swiss from taking the money of the Jews that was in their banks.

And yes the Swiss denied passage into Switzerland of Jews who were subsequently exterminated by the nazi filth. Its a stain on the Swiss Nation's reputation.

As a neutral nation they were closed to all from Comabatant nations. Not just jews.
