Do not worry. God is always fair, just, and most important, merciful.
The Catholic Church believes that those who die never hearing of Christ but have sought the truth and does the will of God as they understand it can be saved. See Romans 2:13-16.

The Bible says you will be punished for your SINS. The point of Jesus' coming was to save us from that same punishment. It's about God having mercy. Like when a Judge has mercy on a defendant. People have either mercy or God's justice to look forward to.
A judge can have mercy if he wants, or hand out a just penalty. They are both "fair".
If someone hurt one of your family members, would you expect "love" from the police and judges? Should they set the culprit free because they "love" everyone? No, you would want justice. Expect the same from God.
1. If God does not exist,
2. then objective truth does not exist.
3. Then evil does not exist.
4. But evil does exist.
5. Therefore objective truth must exist.
6. Therefore God must exist.
(use common sense)

Oh my your seriously confused.
Lets just talk about your last sentence.
Jesus died for our sin because man is not able to atone for his own sin. Jesus was perfect while on this earth, perfect after resurrection and perfect as he stands on the right hand of God. The Jewish people gave a perfect sacrifice for atonement of sin. Jesus was our perfect sacrifice. It was God's way for us to be forgiven.
And who told you that God doesn't listen? Because he doesn't give instant answers that people demand? Because he doesn't answer prayers they way people demand?
If you have read the Bible then you already know the answer to the questions your asking. If you chose to turn from those answers because you don't like them, it does not change the fact that God is just.
If you know what the Bible says because someone told you, then perhaps it is time for you to read it yourself. It will change your life if you allow it to.

The Only persons considered by God to be HIS CHILDREN are those who have entered into a relationship with Him on HIS terms.
Hell was created fot satan and a group of angels that rebelled against Gods RIGHT to rule and reign. Satan figures if he can get enough people to doubt God as well, then maybe God wont send him to hell where he belongs.
We are all born with hell as our destination by virtue of being IN ADAM. We are born sinners...not because of what we DO, but because of who we ARE. God has taken it upon Himself to reconcile all of human kind to Himself by paying the price for sin and giving us the GIFT of a right standing with Him based on our believing that Christs payment for sins was sufficient.
You are trying to make it sound like YOU are nicer than God...and thats just not the case.
Yes, you will go to hell if you dont acknowledge and accept as TRUE the finished work of the Cross on your behalf. No, its NOT fair. We deserve HELL, and God in His GRACE gives us a pardon.

Hmm. It's easier to think that the entire concept of an almighty being is beyond human beings' capability to answer, and--if there is a god--would said god find it insulting at all these claims of his divinity?
It's easier to just.. not be concerned about questions that we cannot answer.
My thoughts anyway. =]
