The Word of God is LOVE... for God is Love... and Love is God.

It is up to each of us to find God within ourselves... to find Love within our hearts.

Peace be with you!

When I think of the "Word of God" I think mostly of the Logos ... but I've never been too confident that I really understand the Logos. It has meant somewhat different things to different Greek thinkers and sages through the centuries.

Logos can mean Word. It can also mean Reason. It can be a kind of transcendental Principle or "blue print" for all that exists manifestly. It can also be an imminent purpose or intelligent "shape" present in objective reality.

So, to me that suggests something like the Word as the Silently Still Infinite in Vibration. The first emanation, the first movement of the One toward the many. And all of Creation as ultimately the Word of God; existence as "meaning."

Put a little less abstrusely, it reminds me of the relationship between the English words "order," "ordinary" and "ordained."

The Word of God thus puts me in mind of the coincidence of the One and the Many, the marriage of the Silent and the Voiced, and the seamless unity between all that is ordinary and matter-of-factual with all that is ordained and sacred.

As my daughter might say, "Word that."

Aum, YHVH. It is the hum of the spheres. All around and within us. the "law" if you will. It is the foundation of worlds. He speaks all things into, and out of existence. (The beginning and the end.)

The English lanuage makes it impossible to pronounce the Word correctly. Sanskrit is the closest to the original Words.
The Key of Solomon, I believe is the title to the book, that helps pronounce words correctly. 'Majik' is built on such as that.

The "Logos" is the written Word, and the "Perusia"(sp?) is the Spoken Word, according to the Hebrews. It also means presence.
That is a very good question, along with the Keys of the KOH Question.

You can think of God's Word to be intellectual, which is easy to negate, or go deeper into the Source of It all. Depending on the depths you wish to take it. Spoken Word comes from the throat chakra, carrying with it the potency of the idea which comes from the crown. A union if you will. You are able to tap into it by obeying the laws of the power of the word. You would be able to speak things into existence as a co-creator at any time. It's been done, and is being done all the time by others, and in un-awareness, we also do it. Lying, cuts us off from that power, among other things.
The Word was made manifest in Christ. In us too, but indirectly.

That is a good meditation, Thanks. Ask me later:)

The tow largest religion that claim they are Gods religion are Christianity, and Islam.
Christians holy book is Bible
Muslims holy book is Qur'aan
One of them is real God's word, other is false
To know which of them is real God's word, please compare them according to these points:
• Which consider God is powerful, and which consider God weak and need rest at Sabbath after creating the world ?
• Which consider God is Most merciful and which consider God as an enemy fear of man lest be a God like him (Gen 3:22-24) lest he put forth his hand, and take also of the tree of life, and eat, and live for ever, So he drove out the man; and he placed Cherubims, and a flaming sword which turned every way, to keep the way of the tree of life.
• Which consider God able to forgive Adam & Eve using his own will, and which consider God as one who made a problem when he promise to make Adam die if Adam ate from the tree, then rue and confused how to withdraw his decision and make all people sinners cause of Adam's sin?
• Which consider God as {no one is like him, and God is most hears, most knows} and which consider God as ignorant cannot know what will happen, so God may be upset, sad, { Gen 6:6 And it repented the LORD that he had made man on the earth, and it grieved him at his heart.}
• Which all his tells are according to modern science, and which says that snakes eat dust, and between Jesus and Abraham 42 fathers (3*14=42) but when name them count only 39 fathers and forget 3 to complete the 42, ….. an d many many mistakes like these
• Which consider prophets as honest faithful people and which consider them as sinners, thiefs, aggressors, faithless, pagans, …
See Gen. 19:30-38, 2Sa 11:1-27, Gen 1:7, ….
The last point is: Which book is one (only one version), and which has many versions, and every year appear new versions (KJV, KJV+, KJVR, KJVA, MKJV, ASV, LITV, Bishops, ……. …
IF YOU STUDY THIS MESSEGE CAREFULLY, READ ANY 50 PAGES, OF BIBLE, AND READ ANY 50 PAGES OF QUR'AAN, THEN YOU WILL KNOW THAT QUR'AAN IS THE WORD OF GOD

Matthew 24: 35

Good question. Some people think the Word of God only exists in the Bible. While much of God's goodness is found there it can also be found elsewhere, especially in the goodness of your own inner spirit. The word of God is a phrase that is mainly attached to some of the Christian sects which proclaim the Bible is it - but not all sects do that, namely Presbyterians, Methodists, etc.

The Kingdom of God is not the same as the Word of God. God's kingdom in reality is everything in the entire cosmos; in time and space, the intervening levels, and in eternity and infinity. And this includes inside every heart, mind and soul who recognizes the everywhereness of the omnipresent, omniscient, omnipotent, eternal and infinite Creator: God, the one and only true uncaused cause. The First Source and Center of all things and beings. His "kingdom" is actually manifold larger and unfathomably more vast than that which was represented to the people of the time when the word "kingdom" was employed to help them understand...they could not have understood the entire universes of universes and cosmos the way we can now.

The Word of God in actuality is every word that is dynamically, and eternally true, good and beautiful - and God's "word" is also God's will, it is always and ever will be true, everlasting, perfect and good and beautiful.

So, to some degree, I'd have to yes it's superficial if the actual word of God is outside of us - if you see it on a billboard it's outside, but if you recognize it's in your heart. So, I think in reality it is both. Some people are in denial of eternal truths when they hear them from some outside source depending on their level of belief, but deep inside, they really can know all that is needful for their own growth.

In fact The Word of God is what God wants and wills for his creation.... The Word is also used for Jesus The Christ. "In The begining was The Word and The Word was with God and The Word was God..."... The Bible of The True Christian Faith is also refered to as The Word of God... even though it is incompleat and has been corrupted by mankind mucking about with translation disputes over the centuries.

The Salvation Message is The Word of God and it has been kept intact in the hearts of those of The Church from The Begining...

All who come to God in The Way He prescribes will receive His free gift of Salvation. Those become part of The Body of The Church of which Jesus The Christ is The Head. Those are the ones of The True Christian Faith. Only those of The Church will enter Heaven.

So.. I see you are referring to the bible. The actual word of God is the Logos, or mind of God - the indwelling Logos, of which is at the core of everyone's being. The secret that was lost when they turned Yeshua into the Jesus-god was that the Indwelling Logos we can not exist apart from, at our core, however that when we are born into our souls we must be born into the mind of God - this represented oneness on many levels of being, as oneness recognizes oneness.

The real word of God refers to the true prophet that is within you, the ONE true teacher, since you need not be taught by anyone. It refers to the inner core of being known as the indwelling Logos, from which our souls are an holographic aspect of. And the scriptures have the same objective as all scripture, they are literally the mind and being projected via text and do not really refer to literal history. The whole objective of the scriptures is to put on the tree of life, which is the perfected mind and be born again, which is the second birth or coming to know thy self.

The "Word of God" is so simple that most people simply refuse to accept that it can BE that simple. It is the one, single word that produces ALL else that is important to our spiritual well-being. that Word is LOVE. It is the Kingdom, the key AND the word, all rolled up into that one single word, LOVE. You can read your Bible ALL day, EVERY day for the rest of your life but if you fail to have love, pure and unconditional, you will never be able to achieve oneness with the divine.

This is an excellent question. The most important aspect of this question is "what is the authority upon which one's religious leanings are based upon?" That shall define what denomination of Church one belongs to. In Christianity I would classify denominations into 5 types: 1. Charasmatic 2. Orthodox, 3. Protestant, 4. Independent Protestant, 5. Fringe "Christian" Churches. The Bible is claimed to be the authority of the word of God for 1 through 4, but Charasmatic types claim God speaks to them (outside of the Bible) thus widening the authority of what they believe. Only type 2, 3, and 4, would seem to be strictly based upon the Bible, But any of the Orthodox which is a bit mysical has a wider authority, and Catholocism has a wider authority with its hierachy and Pope being a kind of authority. An example of Independent Protestant is like the Baptist denomination.

The word of God is the Bible, and only the Bible, God does not speak to us in any other way.

Of course people will have diverse opinions on what the word of God is.

What would you have it be? What does your heart tell you?

We all know the imperfections of the bible and the "church," so what remains is what is true to you.

You know that I am Buddhist and do not believe in a god or gods, but I do believe in many things that you do in terms of our ethics, morality and how we must live in relationship with each other if we are to achieve peace and end suffering. I am very clear about what sounds true to me. Thus, I think, should it be for each of us -- to live and act simply, lovingly and ethically, with compassion toward all, based on what sounds true to each of us.
