get it done. being put to sleep isnt really a big deal, i have been put to sleep twice now and i am 18...trust me it will be better to have this taken care of now rather later on when it can mess up your teeth and you will have to go through more than just a simple operation.

i'm going to be 18 in 2 weeks and i have to get my wisdom teeth out. I'm totally scared cause i've never had any sort of oral surgery done. But if i don't get it done, my wisdom teeth will push all of my teeth forward and ruin my straight teeth(i already had braces). So i've decided to get them taken out. It won't be a big deal because you'll be asleep and they will totally give you pain killers. It will be worth it in the future even if you're freaked out now. But just trust the doctor, he's not an idiot, he's a professional!

Getting it over with is the wisest you can do. Waiting until it grows and hurts your other teeth will make it worse.

What does the dentist say?

PS: Try to listen to your dentist. My daughter had to have four teeth taken out before they were even seen. They began to "eat" the healthy teeth's roots, as the X-ray showed. The earlier these things are done the better.

i think you should def. get the op done now, because if you wait longer your case will just get more complicated and in five years it might have pushed out your front teeth and then you'll need braces and that's another story...so better sooner than later, just get it done and over with...plus being put to sleep is no big deal...i'm sure you'll be fine :)
good luck

GET THESE OUT NOW RATHER THAN LATER. THE HEALING WILL BE FASTER AND QUICKER THAN WHEN YOU'RE OLDER.
