Don't believe everything you read or hear in the media.
I wouldn't say that violent crime is out of control. Regardless of how many police officers are on the streets you will always have violent crimes. We hear of more because the media is more widespread and vocal than ever before.
We could however make vast improvements on the service given at present by the police. Its less than ideal, I accept. I personally think that the government have a lot to answer for. We were given so many promises when they first came to power, something they have yet to deliver.

I'm a bit yes and no with this question,as i think it depends on the area you live!! different areas suffer different crimes i.e city cent re crimes are more violent as the cities attract people to drink, with bars and clubs and the trendy term of binge drinking these days!
i also find that areas where there is a university situated the crimes tend to be robberies on students and also high in burglary...these crime are more drug related to fund habits!!!
so as i say i can not say violent crime is out of control in Britain on a whole!!

Madam,
I did not appreciate the comments you made towards my questions earlier. I thought that some of the others were bad enough, but you took the biscuit. So I have now put you on block.
To answer your question asked..
"No"
Why didn't you try phrasing your question a bit more broadly, and then you might have got a better, broader answer.
Well, you can't complain when other people get personal with you now can you!

I am sure that I read this as a headline recently, no doubt it's from one of the usual "are we doomed" newspapers.
