Christians believe that the soul resides within a material body upon the earth. The sex of the material body is immaterial (sorry for the pun). The soul is split into two parts, male and female. Each part falls to the material universe and takes residence in a physical body. This explains why some people are gay or lesbian (because a female aspect falls into a male body or vice versa).

Therefore, everyone is unborn (existed before they were born upon the earth into a body). What your describing is a phenomenom called ''Chimera''. A person is formed who has a single body formed from TWO distinct fused embryos - Thus has two different gene sets in their body! In this way, you could have a person with a virgina fused to a penis.

I do believe it is true, however I do not believe it is GOds plan. Sin was never Gods plan it was a Choice Man made and still does, this is why things like this happen the world is fallen and broken. It is separated from how GOd had made it in the beginning. GOd will though, have a plan on being there for the people who are born like this.

It is not a part of God's plan. Those people are accidents. God has set the reproductive system on auto pilot and every once in awhile a mistake will be made. This does NOT mean that God is imperfect, it just means that everyonce in awhile these mistakes will help people grow as a person. It's like a challenge.

This rarely happens.

And deformities can happen because of birth control pills, depo shots, etc. So? God allows it to happen if it happens.

But for the Christian, all things work for the good for those who trust in the Lord.

I'm a nurse and I know this happens. God's plan was for perfection on earth. We screwed it up, not Him.

Yes, this is tragic as are all birth defects, but we have to keep in mind their spirit was made perfect. Fortunately the body is temporal and the spirit is eternal.

That's called being a hermaphrodite. That's a birth defect. Not God's design.
