Food in California (LA area) is very expensive.
You can try using coupons and running around to sales, but time is worth money and all of these things take time!
I have 2 people in my household and each trip weekly is approximately 80.00. That would make monthly spending at about 320.00
I'd say a family of 4 could go from 400-600, depending on taste, diet, and the use of coupons.

We're just two adults. But I track food expenses in Excel. We average about $350 a month. And that's with trying to keep expenses down. Months with holidays, birthdays, and anniversaries, it can reach $600.
