That's a hard question, but in my experience guns are similar to women. Mostly the best looking, most expensive, aren't the best characteristics to base your decision on.

The most expensive gun is probably the Korth. Of course there are custom jobs made for Sheiks and Shahs and such that are gold or platimum engraved with encrusted diamonds and such that would pay the national debt of some small country.

Practically speaking for me the most expensive gun is the Colt Python in one of its rarer forms. Example: The 8" .38 Special Python target model. I've only seen one example of this and it was like $1200. The Python, although no longer being made, is also one of the nicest looking revolvers ever. My personal choice would be a Royal Blue one with a 6" barrel in .357 Mag. Oh, I already have one exactly like that! Okay, back to your question, that is my choice. The Colt Python .357 Magnum w/6" barrel in Royal Blue.

Best.

If I were to win a huge lottery, there's no doubt I'd have to have a British "best" double made. Heck, if I'm gonna dream, I may as well get a 12-bore, a 20-bore, a 450, a 450/400, and a medium-bore rifle as well! I love doubles, and those British bests are true works of art.

I dont have expensive taste in firearms, I like to look at and read about very expensive collectibles, buty I'm more of a hands on guy, I gotta shoot what's in my safe. If I had unlimited resources and could only buy one more gun, it would have to be a VEPR chambered in either 7.62x39 or 5.56x45. They cost around a grand are are well worth it.

Depends on what you want to do... If you want to show off then a Desert Eagle will get attention.

If you want to make a big hole than a .45 will definately do that.

If you simply want to stop an intruder than a reliable 9 mm.

Many people love the 38 special. Kind of an all around nice hand gun.

Gun is a broad topic... I narrowed to handguns.

If I could only have one gun it would be the Yugoslavian SKS model 59/66. It is decent for combat. It is fun to shoot in general. Ammo is cheap for it. This rifle is only about 200 dollars but I would prefer it over an AR-15 with a bunch of useless bells and whistles any day.

It depends what you consider a "gun". The Germans had some big rail-guns that will probably cost you a few million.
