Laguna Beach is totally free. I was there last week. It's a pretty crowded little town so you might have to walk a ways and possibly pay for parking.....I prefer Huntington or Newport....The TV show "Laguna Beach" is not shot at Laguna Beach...I think the beach scenes are shot at Manhattan Beach in L.A. County.....

Here in California, most all the beaches are public property - run by the State (or sometimes a county, on behalf of the state). There's no day use cost; the only thing that costs money is parking.
Now... camping, on the other hand - sites are rare and it does cost, but the bigger issue is getting a reservation! (most of the good sites book up 6-7 months in advance)

They are free to the public. But the beaches on private property usually aren't open to the public.
You do not pay to get into a beach.

The beach anywhere is public property and free. I know of no beach that costs money. Only a few that have camping do you pay a fee.

Kids are back in school next week so the beaches will be a lot less crowded during the week. You have to pay for parking but that's it. Also downtown Laguan has lot's of shops and cafe's/restaurants etc. Have fun!!

No. the youngsters on LB come from rich and privleged families. The U.S. is a extensive usa, and not all little ones in the U.S. come from rich families. Plus they carry casting calls, and MTV will pay them to affix the coach. i've got in no way observed an accessory on LB. LB is in California, and the youngsters on LB use surfer lingo greater- like calling the adult adult males dude, and asserting i'm so stoked or it is so ill/gnarly, or like regardless of bro. Thats the only distinction I word in the way they communicate. often, its the adult adult males greater effective than the ladies.
