Feed it more burritos.

If you're talking about a guy, you can't. That's his personality and you have to deal. You can try to make him feel more comfortable by not being judgmental and being friendly, but if you're looking to date him, you may have to ask him yourself. Good luck.

I used to be really shy when I was in middle school, but the reason why is because I was not confident in my self. I had a very low self esteem. So in high school I made lots of friends, and slowly but surely my confident began growing higher and higher, and my self esteem as well. Once I built that up, I became less shy b/c I didn't care what others thought of me, all that mattered is what I thought.

Drama Class. I was very shy for a while and then I took drama class and slowly I became really social. Especially when i was the center of attention.

Want 2 skip da drama?

Just practice practica a little at a time saying hi to people that are your friends, waving to people you know, then later, saying hi to people you want to know.

I know, aren't feelings a nuisence sometimes? ;)

YOU need to be more aggressive. Shyness is like a barrier or wall built by insecurity in oneself. You can tear down that wall with compliments to boost ego or by always making the first move.

gut or guy? some guys aren't into the chasing scenario. we wait for you to tell us you're interested. staring might be obvious to you but i blow off women who just stare at me.

in fact, i usually avoid even saying hi unless they say hi first. it's your biological clock that is ticking so why should i be in a hurry?

You can't. Just give him time. The more he feels comfortable with you the more he will open up and his true self will show. Don't be too loud or outspoken around him, because he may feel intimidated because he knows that his personality doesn't match yours.

Did you mean to type "guy?" lol

You don't, shyness is part of their personality. You can get him to open up more by befriending him. Sit with him at lunch, talk to him on the phone, go to his football games, just get to know him better.

Ask him questions about himself. Everyone likes to talk about themselves. Once you make him comfortable you won,t be able to get rid of him.
