Yes, it says:
Couldn't believe that I could actually understand what I was reading. The phenomenal power of the human mind, according to a research at Cambridge University, it doesn't matter in what order the letters in a word are, the only important thing is that the first and last letter be in the right place.
The rest van be a total mess and you can still read it without a problem. This is because the human mind does not read every letter by itself, but the word as a whole. Amazing huh? yeah and I always thought spelling was important!

I can read it, and yes, it is amazing.
It happens the same in Spanish:
"Sgeún un etsduio de una uivenrsdiad ignlsea, no ipmotra el ódren en el que las ltears etsan ersciats, la úicna csoa ipormtnate es que la pmrirea y la útlima ltera etsen ecsritas en la psiocion cocrrtea. El rsteo peuden etsar taotlmntee mal y apun pordás lerelo sin pobrleams. Etso es pquore no lemeos cada ltera por sí msima sino que la paalbra es un tdoo."

Yes!!!, the only thing is that you can move all the letters around on the words BUT the first one and the last one have to stay in place, if not you can't make them up!

no such research was ever done at cambridge university (nor anywhere else) - and you'd need to be a real dope to believe it was.
reading is so habitual an activity for most of us that we can recover a 'meaning' from all sorts of noisy texts: much the way that we are so addicted to seeing human faces that most of us discover the virgin mary hiding in toasted cheese sandwich.

I was able to comprehend what you were saying. The key here us to use all of the letters. If you can't spell, you're lost. It would be complete gibberish if you were to write the same way using thumb-speak (texting).
