The gap? If your talking about between your teeth it depends if you are having them removed because of overcrowding and you will be getting braces or an appliance to move them it won't take to long. If they are being removed because of problems with the tooth you don't want the gap closing up because that will me your other teeth have shifted and this could cause a problem with your bite and cause spaces between your remaining teeth. Your dentist will most likely give you an appliance to wear to replace the teeth or put in a bridge. If you talking about the hole were the tooth was in you jawbone, in a week or two you won't notice it.

It all depends on the purpose for which they are being pulled.

If you are having teeth pulled because of overcrowding in your mouth, it doesn't take too terribly long for the teeth on either side to move in and take up the empty space. I know my gaps filled in within six months, and that was without orthodontic help from braces or a retainer. Also, please note that those teeth were pulled when I was very young so that I would not need to have braces later on. My dentist felt that my teeth would stay straight on their own if he removed one set of molars on both the top and bottom, and he was correct. If your teeth are being pulled so that you can have braces, the gaps will fill as the braces straighten your teeth, and the gaps should be filled completely by the time your braces are removed.

If your mouth has stopped growing, and the teeth are being pulled for some reason other than overcrowding, the gaps will probably not close on their own. You will probably need more dental work, either a bridge or implants, to close up the space. If that is the case, the gaps won't go away until your dental work is finished.

I hope that makes sense and is of use to you.

If you are talking about the gap in your gums it will be drawn together by sutures and close in a week or so.

If you are talking about the gap in your jawbone where the roots used to be it will not go away but your adjacent teeth are now unstable and will drift closer together (not very good for your smile) unless a bone graft is done in that hole.

No. I only have been given 4 of mines extracted in April and have been given my braces positioned on then and you will nevertheless see them. that isn't any longer so undesirable. thankfully my tooth have moved plenty in 3 months and you will completely tell the variation. I doubt it's going to pass that plenty cuz it truly is diverse for various people. The gums for extremely forgiving and could heal up nicely. only save looking after your extraction section/s and it will the suited it could. i'm 20 and that i like my braces. I smile extra with those on than without them. they are truly making me look so exceptionally. :] After some months no person's gonna care in case you have gaps. that is component to having braces.

The gap does not go away unless another tooth grows in to replace it. Teeth can shift but not enough to fill in a gap where a tooth was.

NEW TEETH GROW WHERE THE TEETH WERE PILLED FROR THE BRACES.
THERE IS NOT A DEFINITE QUOTE TO THE AMOUNT OF TIME IT WILL TAKE FR THIS TO TAKE PLACE.
SINCE YOU'RE GETTING BRACES, DON'T WORRY ABOUT THIS.

They should stitch it with special thread, which will dissolve itself afterwards.
