Well I have found three things that will remove cat /dog and people urine smells from just about anything.
**FEBREEZE Ultra strength to get the major smell cut down then you go in with the arm and hammer pet odor remover you can use the carpet cleaner and then the spray,
**they have a spray called odor eliminator out there I have not used it though so i can not tell you if it works.
**then there is always the Lysol people still use it and it also works
**I had a friend who uses starch and then arm and hammer baking soda and he swears by it
**paint the wood to hold in the smell, get your cat fixed or get it in to see the vet(urinary infections are one of the top reasons your cat will start peeing out of the normal area, also they will go somewhere to get your attention if they feel their cat box is not clean enough
**You may need to spend some extra time with kitty she may be angry at you also. if you do not have the time to spend with kitty it is time to bring in a playmate of some sort for kitty or give her away to a home that you know has the time and money to get her straightened out.

The only permanent solution I have is the Austin Air PET Machine. A bit pricey but if you want to permanently keep your cat and permanently have the smell gone then I’d suggest it no doubt. No matter how hard I tried to wash out the carpets or the couches or even the walls the smell would always come back. Apparently its just a lingering smell in the air, so with the pet machine now I don’t have to waste my time every week scrubbing for hours. Hope this helps! -Randall

I have 7 cats.Few are rescues that am I taking care of and soon will be able to home out.But seeing that I have 7,every once in a while(spite) gets into my female bobtail and she dont sray,,she toatlly peeeeeees!! And I haver tried everything from Vinegar,Listerine, natures miracle,Freebreeze, ect.Nothing takes the smell Out totally but Natures miracle and listerine seems to work the best!Dont use the blue listerine,It stains! Try scrubbing it with vinegar first and then just pine sol .If that dont work U can get natures miracle at ur local pet store or petedge.Petedge saves me about $10.00 on a 1.5 gallon size.I have enclosed a link to petedge, and all the natures miracles Cleaning and deoderizing products. It will save u alot of money compared to Petco and petsmart.Goood luck!!

I have 6 cats and they are not afraid to pee in my house if they get mad at me. (God love 'em)
I use white vinegar. Sometimes I dilute it and sometimes I don't. For instance, they are fond of peeing on a bathroom towel if left on the floor, so I add pure white vinegar to the wash when I do it. I've also (unfortunately) had to pour it directly on my couch. Vinegar is smelly too, but not as smelly as cat urine! I usually follow up with Febreeze of some sort, although I found that "All" in the scent rain shower smells better. Good luck!

I use the product below and it works good for me. After the first use, I still spray the product about every 2 days in the area where my cat use to urinate. Hope this helps.
