I like to study at the library, but there is not enough lighting and it makes my eyes hurt.?

Does anyone know of a company/website that makes portable reading lamps?

You could try something like www.biggerandbrighter.com, or you could go into a Barnes and Noble or similar store and find small portable reading lights there. I would also mention this to the librarians. They may not realize that this is a problem, and it is certainly a relatively easy one to fix by putting in bulbs with higher wattages in certain areas of the library.
