This would indicate she really wasn't born of God and so isn't in heaven today.

Do you think it is because she was deceived with a different Jesus & a different Gospel? Because Jesus supposedly called her to this mission. But then Jesus was absent once she got there. That a different Jesus (a false one) called her. And she loved this false Jesus at first. The things her Jesus said to her, my Jesus would never say to me.

Her lack of connection to God is contrare to bible teaching. There are bible promises that God will never leave us or forsake us, etc... That the Holy Spirit confirms in our spirits that we are the children of God & can pray Heavenly Father 24/7.

keffer, She didn't have that spiritual voice (the comforter) Read the article in 'Time' magazine for September. I do. So? She just wasn't born again. She did a work she thought was right & fed orphans, etc. This is pure religion. But the first commandment is to love the LORD Thy God with all your heart mind soul & strength. I don't see that in her. I don't even know if she taught these children Gods love & the Gospel of Christ.

marbledog, Let me get this straight. I didn't write she was in hell. I have prayed to God about her years ago & I never & still don't get assurance in my spirit she is in heaven with the Lord. Robert p has the answer in the first web site. I ask God about people who die sometimes. And, I don't think she went to hell. I believe there is a place of rest where people go whose sins aren't atoned for. Yet prayed to God, but just was deceived about God. Even one sin not covered will keep you out of heaven. Hell is made for the devil & his messengers. Mother Theresa helped many children. And children are an example of the Kingdom of Heaven. When you reach out to children, you are helping Jesus. This is true. But they aren't Jesus, just His children.

Believe those who say they are searching for the truth and doubt those who say they have found it.

I can speculate only. As Mother Theresa lived in India where there are Hindus and Muslims in large majorites, and she being a wise and truthful person, must have read the Gita of Hindus and the Koran of Muslims and had the rare opportunity, unavailed by many Christians, to understand the doctrines of other faiths and compare their rationality and spiritual accord with those of the Christian faith.

For example, the Koran too narrates the attributes of Jesus, his immaculate birth, and of Moses among other many prophets.

Jesus are mentioned many more times by name than Prophet Mohamed to whom the Koran was revealed. There is a whole Chapter of many verses given the name of Mary.

The miracles performed by Jesus as reported in the Bible are also narrated in the Koran with variable versions though. What is fantastic is that the Koran mentions one additional miracle which the Bible does not. Jesus spoke from the cradle in defense of her mother by a divine inspiration when some members of the local community rushed to accuse Mary of an illegitimacy of the baby.

Devouts become more committed to their faith after comparing and weighing the doctrines of other faiths or, if that fails, become more committed to keeping searching for the truth.

The Bible says: O' Ye men, search the truth and it shall set you free. Conviction in the truth is not hereditary or by conveyance but by a life long process of gaining that conviction with a self-testimony.

Hon, Please understand that the human body is carnal with a mind of it`s own.

Everyone has doubts, troubles and struggles. We are all a work in progress.

Just because you follow Jesus does NOT make you perfect. No one is perfect. NOT the pope, ministers, or other clergy, Or rabbi`s or Nuns, or other spiritual teachers.

We all sin and will sin again. It is our human nature that causes it. However, God is just like other Dads and forgives us and picks us up and we toddle off to the next disaster. The trick is to learn and grow.

Peace & God bless from Texas. <><

So let me get this straight...

Mother Theresa is in hell.

Jeffery Dahmer (who was born again and baptised in prison) is in heaven.

I'm sorry... I'm all for religious tolerance, but your beliefs are seriously f*cked up. If the Jesus you worship punishes people like mother Theresa, your Jesus is a psychopath.

This kind of vicious insanity runs directly contrary to the message of the New Testament (not to mention common sense).

My answers here are almost always polite and respectful, but malicious foolishness like this simply goes beyond the pale.

I'll wear my "thumbs down" with pride on this one.

I can *only* imagine that a woman so devoted to caring for the most desperately poor of the world's children felt a kind of despair I cannot *possibly* imagine.

I hope that heaven is filled with people like her- serving and caring for people, loving unconditionally. If it is filled with people who just talked a good game about loving their god, I am gonna try and find a new place to hang my heavenly hat...

She prayed to know the suffering of Christ.
She got her prayer answered.
The worst suffering Christ experienced was when he felt abandoned by God as he hung on the cross.
The reason he felt this way was because God could not look upon sin--which is what Christ took from the world.

Jesus Said he was going back to be with his father. Jesus is NOT here, but he said he would leave with us the holy spirit.this is what guides us. in our own individual ways .so we may know Gods will and do it. she knew Gods will and did it. dear.because she was of the spirit. are you of the spirit. do you ask of it. do you listen for that quiet voice within. do you do Gods will. as she did.are you bearing false witness .How can you possibly know someone Else's heart.especially someone as wonderful as her

It is entirely irrelevent- people come up with tings like this about mother teresa, how she was actually a racist and a homophobe etc. etc.- the basic fact is she had the courage to what none of us on here COULD do though we know we should which is give ALL our possesions and money to the poor and those worse off than ourselves and dedicate our lives to providing healthcare to people in LEDC's

in my book, for helping so many people, if there is a heaven, she'd deserves to get in.
what you're saying is that she wasn't trying to preach to the children she helped, so she doesn't deserve to get into whatever heaven there is.
you're just putting forward your judgment and you closed minded beliefs expecting to be justified. i feel the heavenly entrance exam of yours is at best messed up.

It's kind of hard to actually know someone who has been dead for more than 2000 years. And jeez, just because she may have been a bit skeptical about her religion doesn't make her any less of a wonderful person and a true example of humanity.
