YES. 30% of our federal prison population is illegal aliens, perpatrators of violent crime. In the last month, Illegal aliens have murdered more than a dozen Americans. I would start with gang members and associates. Those who are employed should be investigated, screened and allowed to stay. The employers should be penalized for encouraging this unarmed invasion. It's time we take our country back from the invaders.
Then it is time for real immigration reform. If an individual has NO criminal background, NO communicable diseases,
is not traceable to a country that breeds terrorists, and has a waiting sponsor here (sponsor will be liable for all food, shelter, education, and medical care at sponsors expense, until new emigrant has the ability to provide all this) then that emigrant should be welcomed here, as a productive member of our society, causing no burden on our social services or infrastructure. If I were born in some of these countries with no opportunities, I would hope for the opportunity to become an American. We need to streamline the process so that the good people I have met can come here legally and stay if they wish. The proposed guest worker program is a joke. Very few would leave here and go back to their native land , once finding opportunity here.

No because any vigilante group couldn't determine whether there problem immigrants or just hard workers looking for a better life for there family. If you like guarding the borders that your choice but the problems aren't coming in like wetbacks there already there and it's the governments job to determine who's illegal and who's not. It does not have to come to that. Secure the border, deport any illegal that comes into contact with law enforcement. Severely punish and fine any employer that hires illegals. Take away the jobs magnet, the free health care and welfare. Do not offer college enrollment to illegals. Do all these things and the flow across the border will be in the other direction.

NO. To me that would be an invasion of privacy to go around checking all of them to see who had their papers in order & who didn't. Why not go from person to person to check & see how mentally stable each person is so we know who is going to rape,murder or rob? To me it would be the same difference.
