Okay, so I like this guy who I am also really good friends with. My other best friend tells me that he likes me too. Usually I can trust her with things like that, and I don't know why I am doubting what she said to me. People have been saying that we should go out for two years now, and I don't want to waste anymore time. I know it may seem that with all of this information I am giving you, this decision would be easy to make, but something keeps holding me back. Please help me. And just so you know, he has only been to my house once, we haven't kissed or anything, and I have never been to his house. School starts soon and we have no classes together.

Your fear is understandable. You don't want to mess up your friendship. But being a good friend is the best basis for a stronger relationship because it means you can already talk to each other, most likely have some things in common and probably respect one another's feelings. Talk to him about your feelings and ask his opinion. Be open and honest. That way, he will respect you and your honesty and if he doesn't like you that way, you still haven't lost your friend or your dignity.

OK look you should go for it cuz if ya don't have classes together sum one else might come and take him away and then you are ganna feel stupid for letting him go like that with out even trying so if some one or something is holding you back just for get about that and go for it talk to him about it and then do what you have to do to get him don't be a fool go for it trust me i been threw that and i let it go and know he has a g/f and i feel stupid

I think dat u should trust ur friend. Well 1st say 2 him if he wants 2 go 2 da movies with u just as friends. Then if it goes well, u should ask him out.

Tell him you two have been friend for a while and you really like him. Don't just go up to him and say " Hey let's go out"

It seems like he might like you so just try and be a little bit flirtier around him and such. If he likes you (hopefully) hell get the hint and ask you out. If you figure out another way to get your guy (friend) to be your guy let me know please, I am going through a similar thing right now. i think you should hang out with him more 1on1 and if things seem to be going well still, talk to him about dating. it stinks that you have no classes with him though.
