he is the bartender at the local bar he liked me a year ago but he had a girlfreind so i kept my distance.he is now single so i sent him a myspace mesage asking him to get together,he replied with okay and gave me his number to call,i called him and left a message,he replied two days later with a myspace message apologizing for missing my call and we would get togetther later in the week.the thing is one of his bestfriends is in love with me because i called him crying one night about my x who hurt me.i dont like his best friend i like him,but he seems to not be interested?would he still give me his number if he was not interested?

I think he is interested because he gave you his number. I say call him one more time. If you have to leave a message, then wait for him (no more than a week, I think) to call you back. If he doesn't, then you have your answer and don't waste your time on him. It's really freaking annoying when men play that game!

Should you message him again? No.
If his best friend is in love with you, you don't stand a chance with him. For us guys, that's a no no. And buddies are way more important than guys. Forget the guy.

Honey, if he gave you his number, then he must have been interested. Guys are just that way. You must be patient if you want him to love you. Don't message him on that topic again, you could just say hi and other stuff, or he'll think you love him tooooooo much and he'll start bluffing. Trust me, that happened to me once! I hope I helped! Maybe it is not the best to message him again because it may look as it he is not interested but just give him time and space and see how he reacts.

i dont think he would give you his number if he didnt like you...would you give your number out to sum1 knowing they liked you and you didnt like him??
just relax a bit...no hurry. he will text you if he really wants to take you out...dont text him again now till he texts you...for 1 it makes you look 2 desperate and 2 it might scare him off if you keep pestering him.
chill girl...he will call you.playing a little hard to get works a treat...just a little tho...dont wana go to far with that to make him think you are playing games with him
