Translate Hello Into Russian

Well, it's not an English word...

So there's no standard way that I know of to pronounce it in English. Moreover, there's no sound for "Zdr" in English. Syllables need vowels to be syllables, and unless you can somehow make "Zdra" or "Zdrav" one syllable, I have no idea how you could make that work.

If it's a Russian word, it should be pronounced the Russian way.

But, if there is a way, I hope you find out what it is.

May God bless you.

Say "privet" instead. It's easier. This is less formal though. Privet is good for friends and family, but if they're somewhat strangers maybe it would sound funny to the other person. Privet sounds like "Preevee ett".
The formal hello that you wrote above is difficult for Americans to say, because the rolling of the r sound is not in our alphabet. When Americans take French there's that rolling of the r in French, but when it's not in your native tongue it's hard to do.

Actually, I hate it when I am not sure about how to pronounce something.
I always prefer a recording and then try to mimic it.

Why don't you say :
Dobriy den, (good afternoon)
dorbriy vecher(good evening)
Dobroye Utro (pronounced "OO-troh")(good morning)
It is still formal enough, but easier to say.
