diet is 80% of weight loss - eating healthy 5-6 small meals a day, 5-8 servings of fruit and veggies, 8 glasses of water, protein, complex carbs, healthy fats.
the only fat burning exercise is cardio (running, jogging, cycling, hiking, swimming, rope jumping, elliptical etc.) do it 4-6 times a week for average of 45min
you also have to do light weight training a few times a week - the more muscle the faster metabolism

exercise is the best way to burn fat , apart you should also bring your under control .
fasting is not the best way to burn fat it merely causes mal nourishment .
jogging is the best exercise.
also drinking lots of water whenever you feel hungry may also help

Talk to your doctor about diet pills, and running is awesome! That's the millitary's main form of exercise. :o)
